Del Mar Fairgrounds

The Del Mar Fairgrounds is a 370-acre property that is the site of the annual San Diego County Fair (called the Del Mar Fair from 1984 to 2001). Its Del Mar Racetrack was built by the Thoroughbred Club in 1937 by founding members Bing Crosby and Pat O'Brien with Paramount Studios as corporate sponsor. The fairgrounds is owned by the State of California and is managed by 22nd District Agricultural Association, a state agency that hosts more than 300 annual events.

San Diego County Fair

The San Diego County Fair (formerly called the Del Mar Fair) is a county fair held every summer at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California. The fair is a major draw for San Diego County residents; in recent years, attendance figures have risen above a million annually, reaching a record all-time attendance of 1,412,113 in 2011. San Diego county fair only opens in the early summer.

Los Peñasquitos Lagoon

Los Peñasquitos Marsh Natural Preserve and Lagoon is a coastal marsh in San Diego County, California, USA situated at the northern edge of the City of San Diego, forming the natural border with Del Mar, California. Del Mar Racetrack

Del Mar Racetrack is an American Thoroughbred horse racing track at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in the seaside city of Del Mar, California, 20 miles north of San Diego. Operated by the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, it is known for the slogan: "Where The Turf Meets The Surf.
