Essingeleden
Essingeleden is a motorway that goes from Solna to Stockholm, Sweden, crossing the westmost parts of central Stockholm, by going over Kungsholmen, Lilla Essingen, and Stora Essingen. Essingeleden has three bridges — Fredhällsbron (270 m), Essingebron (470 m), and Gröndalsbron (460 m) — and one tunnel, Fredhällstunneln (210 m), which is one of the most trafficked tunnels in Europe.
Fridhemsplan
Fridhemsplan is an open place in Kungsholmen, Stockholm and the location of a major metro station by the same name, where the blue line and the green line meet. The place was named Fridhemsplan in 1935, after the major street Fridhemsgatan crossing the area. Before that, the area was simply known as Kungsholmen Toll station.
Stadshagen
Stadshagen is a district in Stockholm, in the northwest part of Kungsholmen. One of Stockholm's major hospitals, Saint Göran Hospital, opened in 1888 in this district. The Blue line metro station of Stadshagen was opened in 1975 and is the least lightly used of the three subway lines.
Kristineberg, Stockholm
Kristineberg is a residential area of Kungsholmen, Stockholm. The land was bought by the city in 1920. Before that it was owned by Kristineberg Palace. Kristineberg metro station is an outdoor station and was opened on 26 October 1952.
Kristineberg Palace
Kristineberg Palace in Kungsholmen, Stockholm was built around 1750 for the businessman R. Schröder. The palace was surrounded by parks and the property included a great deal of the surrounding land. In 1864 the property was bought by the Swedish Freemasonry and additional construction on the palace was made. Stockholm City bought the land in 1921 and started building the Kristineberg district, and today part of the palace is used as a school.
Thorildsplan
Thorildsplan is a small park in Kristineberg in Stockholm, named in 1925 after the writer Thomas Thorild (1759–1808). The Thorildsplan outdoor metro station was opened in 1952 and is close to Fridhemsplan.
National Archives of Sweden
The National Archives of Sweden is one of the oldest public agencies in Sweden, with a history leading back to the Middle Ages. The chief of Riksarkivet is called the Riksarkivarie. A branch within the Archives has a special responsibility for public heraldry in Sweden. The head of this branch has the title State Herald (statsheraldiker). Since 1963, the Royal Palace Archives at Stockholm Palace is a section under the National Archives.

Saint Göran Hospital is a hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located at Kungsholmen (a small island in the lake Mälaren) in central Stockholm. S:t Göran Hospital is one of Sweden's oldest hospitals. Already mentioned in letters from the 13th century it has a proud history of social and medical development. Alongside Karolinska Hospital (Karolinska sjukhuset) it is Stockholms's main hospital and the prime emergency hospital.

Västerbron (Swedish: The Western Bridge) is an arch bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. With a total length exceeding 600 m, 340 m of which stretches over water, it is one of the major bridges in Stockholm, offering one of the most panoramic views of the central part of the city centering on Gamla stan, the old town.
Ekelundsbron
Ekelundsbron is a bridge in Stockholm, Sweden. Passing over the canal Karlbergskanalen, it connects the city district Stadshagen on Kungsholmen to the northern suburb Solna. The bridge is named after the crofter's holding once found nearby called Ekelund or Eklundstorpet (ek = "oak", lund = "grove", torp = "cottage"), which also gave its name to the shanty town found here around 1880. The bridge was earlier called Karlbergsbron.
Mariebergsbron
Mariebergsbron is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Formerly known as Lilla Essingebron, it connects the islands Kungsholmen to Lilla Essingen. The current name is due to the vicinity to the city district Marieberg. The first bridge at this location, replacing a hand-pulled ferry, was built in 1907 and financed by local landowners. It was a rather heavy concrete bridge with a five metres wide roadway flanked by two 0,5 metres thick edges.
Fredhällsbron
Fredhällsbron (Swedish: The Fredhäll Bridge) is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. It connects the island Lilla Essingen to Fredhäll, a district on the island Kungsholmen, and, forming a section of the Essingeleden motorway, connects the Lilla Essingen interchange to the tunnel Fredhällstunneln. The bridge is made of pre-stressed concrete cellular sections forming two parallel, separate roadways, each 270 metres long and 14,8 metres wide with horizontal clearances of 9 metres.

Rålambshovsparken (sometimes called Rålis) is a big park in Marieberg district in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. It is overpassed by a section of the bridge Västerbron.
Konradsberg
Konradsberg or Konradsbergs hospital is a former mental hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. The Stockholm Institute of Education now uses the old hospital building.
Karlberg Palace
Karlberg Palace is a palace by the Karlberg Canal on the border of Stockholm in Solna. The palace, built in 1630 and the oldest in Solna municipality, today houses the Military Academy Karlberg. In the park are found, among other things, a "temple of Diana" (originally dedicated to Neptune) and the burial site of Pompe, the dog of King Charles XII. Notwithstanding the palace remain a military institution, the park is accessible to the public and is open 06-22 daily.

Military Academy Karlberg
Military Academy Karlberg is a Swedish military academy, since its inauguration in 1792 in operation in the Karlberg Palace in Solna, just north of central Stockholm. It is thus the oldest military academy in the world to remain in its original location. Swedish cadets join the academy as part of their three year training as do officers aspiring to become navy lieutenants or army and air force captains.

Cheiron Studios was a recording studio located at Kungsholmen, Stockholm, Sweden founded in 1993 by Denniz PoP and Tom Talomaa. Cheiron Studios was apart from being a recording studio, also a label Cheiron Records in affiliation with BMG for a while, and the music publishing service Cheiron Songs.
Västerbroplan
Västerbroplan is a traffic intersection in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. It lies just west of Västerbron and just south of Fridhemsplan. It is also the location of DN-Skrapan, the offices of several newspapers and associated agencies. While its namesake, Dagens Nyheter, no longer resides in the building, it is still very much associated with press and journalism.
