Hägersten (borough)
Hägersten was a borough (stadsdelsområde) in the southern part of Stockholm, Sweden until January 1, 2007 when it was merged with Liljeholmen borough to form the Hägersten-Liljeholmen district. The other districts that made up the borough were Fruängen, Hägerstensåsen, Mälarhöjden and Västertorp.
Västertorp
Västertorp is a suburb southwest of Stockholm. The suburb was constructed in the late 1940s. The Västertorp outdoor metro station was opened in 1964. Västertorp is recognized for the many sculptures decorating the area. The sculptures were placed on the initiative of Fritz H. Mälarhöjden is a suburb in south-west Stockholm, Sweden. It is a part of Hägersten borough. The area is dominated by single-family houses. It borders Hägersten, Västertorp, Fruängen and Bredäng. As of 2004, the area had 4022 inhabitants.

Gröndalsbron
Gröndalsbron (Swedish: The Gröndal bridge) are two bridges in central Stockholm, Sweden, connecting the island Stora Essingen to the southern mainland district Gröndal. The older bridge, inaugurated in 1967, forms a 460-metre section of the Essingeleden motorway, of which 260 metres constitute the bridge, divided into three pre-stressed concrete frames, 70, 120, and 70 metres in length.
Huvudstabron
Huvudstabron is a bridge in Sweden. Stretching over Bällstaviken it connects the industrial area Ulvsunda in the municipality Stockholm to the city district Huvudsta in the municipality Solna. I first bridge at the location was put forward in the 1930s, but was never realized until the general plan of 1960 when plans for the never realized arterial road Huvudstaleden was being discussed. Huvudstabron was built 1964–67 as a first stage in the project.
Alviksbron
Alviksbron (Swedish for The Alvik Bridge) is a box girder bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Oxhålssundet, it connects Stora Essingen island to the western suburb Bromma. Built 1996-1998 by the Nordic Construction Company at a cost of 180 million SEK, it has served the Tvärbanan light rail line and pedestrians and bicyclists since its inauguration in August 2000. The name is derived from Alvik, originally a local manor house built in 1819 and demolished in 1930.
Lillsjön (Ulvsunda)
Lillsjön (Swedish: The Small Lake) is a small lake in the western suburb Bromma in Stockholm, Sweden. It is one of four lakes in the western suburbs, the other being: Kyrksjön, Judarn, and Råcksta Träsk. Located in the small park Lillsjöparken and surrounded by heavily trafficked artery roads on all sides, it is rich in nutrients with high levels of metals in the sediments. Prospects are to improve the water quality to keep the lake as a locale for birds.
Stora Essingen
Stora Essingen is an island and a district in the Kungsholmen borough in Stockholm, Sweden. The Essingeleden motorway, part of European route E4, passes along a section of the eastern shore. The Tvärbanan light rail passes near the eastern shore and has one stop on the island.
Traneberg
Traneberg is a residential district in western Stockholm and part of the Bromma borough. For the 1912 Summer Olympics, Tranebergs Idrottsplats hosted some of the football competitions.

The station was inaugurated on 26 October 1952. At the same time Nockebybanan was rebuilt and had two new tracks and a new station at the metro platforms. The distance to Slussen is 8 km. Alvik is connected to Brommadepån, a depot for metro cars and trams which is located north of the station.

Essingen Islands
The Essingen Islands are a group of two islands—Stora Essingen and Lilla Essingen—in the Swedish lake of Mälaren, located southwest of Kungsholmen in Stockholm. On older maps, the islands are called Stora Hessingen and Lilla Hessingen. The islands were a part of the administrative Bromma Parish until 1916, when they were incorporated with the parish into Stockholm Municipality.
Tranebergs Idrottsplats
Tranebergs Idrottsplats was a football stadium in Traneberg district, western Stockholm, Sweden. It was opened in 1911. Tranebergs Idrottsplats served as the home ground of Djurgårdens IF for 25 seasons. Stadium was demolished in 1936.
