Rinkeby
Rinkeby is a district in Rinkeby-Kista borough, Stockholm, Sweden. Rinkeby had 15,051 inhabitants as at December 31, 2007. Rinkeby is noted for its high concentration of immigrants and people with immigrant ancestry (see definition of Swede). 89.1% of the population of Rinkeby has a first- or second-generation immigrant background as of 31 December, 2007. A sociolect called Rinkeby Swedish has been named after Rinkeby.
Västerort
Västerort (sometimes translated to West Stockholm) is the western part of Stockholm Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden. It also forms part of Stockholm urban area and of Stockholm Metropolitan Area. It constitutes the western suburban area within Stockholm's municipal borders. The eastern part of Västerort was annexed by the City of Stockholm in 1916 and the western part in 1949.
Hjulsta
Hjulsta is a working-class suburb of Stockholm. It is considered being part of Tensta, but with its own subway station which was opened in 1975 and is the end station of the blue line. The modern urban area of Hjulsta took its name from an old village known to have been located in the area at least from the 1480s.
Flysta
Flysta is a part of the congregation Spånga in the western-most parts of Stockholm municipality. It is a part of the Spånga-Tensta borough. Despite its location in a predominantly residential suburban area, this community has much of what smaller villages used to have, e.g. a bakery, grocery shops, carpenters, hairdressers located along the main road - Spångavägen. This is a testimony to the fact that it used to be its own village, and a summer residence area at the beginning of the 1900s.
Islandstorget metro station
Islandstorget is a station in the Stockholm metro on the green line. The Station is localised in Södra Ängby and it's an overgroundstation. The entrance is from Blackebergsvägen. On a workday there's some 2800 passengers who travel to or from Islandstorget. The station was opened in 1952.
Blackeberg
Blackeberg is a suburb of Stockholm built in the 1950s, and is part of the Bromma borough. Blackeberg was originally a croft first mentioned in 1599. The croft was demolished in 1861 by Knut Ljunglöf, who built a house, a stable, a mill and a saw instead. The saw and mill are now both cultural relics and are still standing in Kvarnviken for tourists to see. The city of Stockholm bought Blackeberg in the late 1940s.
Bromsten
Bromsten is an upper-middle-class district of northwestern Stockholm and belongs to the Spånga-Tensta borough. The ruins of an ancient hill fort located in the area are believed to be the source of the district's name.
Beckomberga Hospital
Beckomberga Hospital was a Swedish psychiatric hospital, situated in Bromma west of Stockholm. Opened in 1932, Beckomberga was in its mid-20th century heyday one of the largest psychiatric hospitals in Europe, housing some 2,000 mentally ill patients. The hospital was closed in 1995.
Kyrksjön
Kyrksjön is a small lake in Bromma, a western suburb in Stockholm, Sweden. Named after its vicinity to the old church Bromma kyrka, the lake was made part of the nature reserve Kyrksjölöten in 1997. Three other lakes are located near Kyrksjön: Judarn, Lillsjön, and Råcksta Träsk.
Bällstaån
Bällstaån or Spångaån is a small stream in northern Stockholm. Flowing through the municipalities of Järfälla, Stockholm, Sundbyberg, and Solna, it empties in the bay Bällstaviken, the innermost part of Ulvsundasjön. Some 1,4 km of the stream is passing through culverts and long stretches of it have been straitened out to form part of the local stormwater system. Notwithstanding, other sections are furnished with promenades and ponds and therefore considered as of local recreational interest.
Södra Ängby
Södra Ängby is a residential area blending functionalism with garden city ideals, located in western Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Bromma borough. Encompassing more than 500 buildings, it remains the largest coherent functionalistic villa area in Sweden and possibly the world, still well-preserved more than a half-century after its construction 1933–40 and protected as a national cultural heritage. The area covers 1.1 square kilometres, and is inhabited by 1,744 people.

Vällingby metro station
Vällingby is a station in the Stockholm metro, located in the suburban district of Vällingby in Västerort Stockholm Municipality, Sweden. The station was opened in 1952, and is part of Line 19 of the Green Line. As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, the station features concrete trees on the platforms, created by Casimir Djuric in 1983.
Tensta Konsthall
Tensta Konsthall is a centre for contemporary art on the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1998, the art centre has exhibited works by international artists which include: Wolfgang Tillmans, Julian Opie, On Kawara, Shirin Neshat, Susan Hiller, Tracey Moffat, Kutlug Ataman, Mark Wallinger Rainer Ganahl and Tris Vonna Michell. The Centre has also exhibited many leading Swedish artists such as: Elin Wikström, Ulf Rollof, Carl Michael von Hausswolff, Magnus Wallin and Karl Holmqvist.
Spånga Church
Spånga kyrka is a church in the Spånga-Tensta borough in Stockholm, Sweden. The oldest part of the church origins from the time period 1175 – 1200. Large reconstructions and enhancements took place during the 14th century and the 15th century. Baron Gustaf Bonde (1620–1667), owner of the nearby Hässelby castle, made considerable donations to the church.
Bromma Church
Bromma kyrka is a so-called round church in the borough Bromma in Stockholm, Sweden. The oldest parts of the church were built in the later 12th century as a fortress church, and the church is among Stockholm's oldest buildings. Today it has seven parts: roundhouse, nave, choir, sacristy, grave choir, weaponhouse and crypt.

Fascinate
Fascinate is a graffiti painting at an industrial park in Bromsten, Stockholm. Fascinate was created by Circle and Tarik, then 17 years old, in 1989 and was then the largest graffiti painting in northern Europe. It is painted on an outside wall of an industrial building and was made with consent from the property owner. Fascinate is one of the world's oldest still existing graffiti paintings. In 1989 graffiti was a relatively new phenomenon in Sweden.
