Gullmarsplan
Gullmarsplan is a place in Johanneshov, Stockholm. The square there was built at the same time the new city area was developed in the 1940s. The business area around the square was inaugurated in 1946. The Skanstullsbron (Skanstull bridge) and Johanneshovsbron (Johanneshov bridge) connect Gullmarsplan by road with Södermalm, a part of the city center. Beneath Gullmarsplan, the road tunnel Södra länken runs in an east-west direction.
Hovet
Hovet ("The Court"), formerly known as Johanneshovs Isstadion, is an arena in Stockholm mainly used for ice hockey, concerts and corporate events. It was opened in 1955 as an outdoor arena. A roof was added in 1962, and the arena interior has also been a subject to major renovation in 2002. The arena's main tenants are ice hockey clubs AIK and Djurgårdens IF. The official capacity is 8,094 spectators for ice hockey events and 8,300 during concerts.
Eriksdalsbadet
Eriksdalsbadet is the biggest swimming centre in Stockholm, Sweden The outdoor pool was built for the 1962 European Aquatics Championships on the site of a former sewage treatment facility. The new Eriksdalsbadet was built 1999 and was designed by architect Björn Thynberger. It has: 25 m swimming pool with a depth of mostly 2.5 m but it varies due to a specially-constructed raisable floor. Hosting FINA Swimming World Cup and Arena Diving Champions Cup annually.

Söderstadion
Söderstadion (translated in English as Southern Stadium) is a football stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. It was opened in 1966 although there had already existed stadiums at the site, the earliest opened in 1918 under the name Johanneshovs Idrottsplats, and a first stadium with the current name was built in 1950. Söderstadion has a capacity of 15,600–16,197 depending on usage. Bandy was played at Söderstadion wintertime until 1989.
Södra länken
Södra länken (The southern link), National road 75 (Riksväg 75), is a motorway in Sweden connecting Essingeleden, Stockholm with Värmdöleden (county road 222), Nacka. Södra länken is 6 km in length, of which 4.7 km is in tunnels. This makes it the second longest urban motorway tunnel in Europe after Madrid M30 orbital motorway. The tunnel is 4 lanes wide each way at its widest point (total 8 lanes). The road has the designation national road 75 (Riksväg 75).
Stureby
Stureby is a residential area in southern Stockholm, approx. 4 kilometers from Skanstull. The district is bordered on the other by Örby, Örby slott, Bandhagen, Gubbängen, Svedmyra, Gamla Enskede and Årstafältet. The construction of Stureby started in the 1920s and was named after Sten Sture the Younger. The Stureby outdoor metro station was first opened in 1951 but expanded in 1953.
Gamla Enskede
Gamla Enskede, "the garden city," is a district of Enskede-Årsta borough, South Stockholm, Sweden. It was created in 1904 to provide housing for workers, and is 2.94 square kilometres . The architectural type known as "the Enskede villa," with pointed roofs on wooden houses, originated in Gamla Enskede. the style of the streets are built to look like a "typical English" garden city, therefore not one street is completely straight but instead the streets are crooked and bent.
Skansbron
Skansbron is a bascule bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over the canal Hammarbykanalen, it connects the major island Södermalm to the southern mainland district Södra Hammarbyhamnen. Before the lake Hammarbysjön was transformed into a canal in the 1920s, Skanstull, the southern tollgate of the city, was surrounded by fortifications, including a moat over which a simple wooden bridge led into the city.
Skanstullsbron
Skanstullsbron is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Overpassing the older bridge Skansbron, it connects the major island Södermalm to the southern district Johanneshov. The first proposal for an elevated bridge stretching over the canal Hammarbykanalen was produced in 1921, before work on the lower Skansbron bridge began in 1923. It remained the favoured bridge design to solve the increasing traffic load of the area during the 1920s and 1930s and was approved by the City Council in 1939.
Johanneshovsbron
Johanneshovsbron is a 756 metres long and 17,9 metres wide motorway bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Overpassing two older bridges, Skansbron and Skanstullsbron, and one newer bridge, Fredriksdalsbron, it connects Södermalm and the tunnel passing under it, Söderledstunneln, to Johanneshov, the district immediately south of the historical city centre, and national road 73, leading out of the city.
Fredriksdalsbron
Fredriksdalsbron is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Serving the light rail line Tvärbanan, it stretches north from the station west of the Gullmarsplan metro station, immediately makes a sharp eastward turn to plunge under two other bridges, Skanstullsbron and Johanneshovsbron, to continue eastward over a viaduct leading down to the station Mårtensdal in the newly built suburb Hammarby sjöstad. During the planning process the project name "Kvarnbron" (Mill Bridge) was used.

Stureby murder
The Stureby murder occurred on June 6, 2009 when 15 year-old Therese Johansson Rojo (born June 17, 1993) was murdered in Stureby, located outside of Stockholm, Sweden by two schoolmates. The two 16 year-olds, who eventually admitted to murdering Johansson Rojo, were arrested the following day. The girl had managed to get the boy to carry out the murder by SMS text messages, telephone calls and chatroom contact during a period of time leading up to the murder.
