Riddarfjärden
Riddarfjärden, literally The Knight Firth, is a bay of Lake Mälaren in central Stockholm. Stockholm was founded in 1252 on an island in the stream where Lake Mälaren (from the west) drains into the Baltic Sea (to the east). The island is today called Stadsholmen and constitutes Stockholm's Old Town. It is surrounded by land to the north and south, and by water to the west (Riddarfjärden) and east.

Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is an island in Lake Mälaren in Sweden, part of Stockholm City. It is situated north of Riddarfjärden and considered part of the historical province Uppland. Its area is 3.9 km² with a perimeter of 8.9 km. The highest point is at Stadshagsplan (47 m). The total population is 56,754 (December 31, 2007). Administratively, it is subdivided into the five districts Kungsholmen, Marieberg, Fredhäll, Kristineberg and Stadshagen.
Vasaparken, Stockholm
Vasaparken is a park in Stockholm, Sweden, located in Vasastaden and named after the Royal Vasa Dynasty. The park lies between the two squares Odenplan and Sankt Eriksplan. South of the park lies the Sabbatsberg hospital. Vasaparken was established in this area in 19th century and during World War I, the park was used to grow potatoes for the city.
Rådhuset metro station
Rådhuset (Court House) is a rapid transit station in Kungsholmen in central Stockholm, part of the Stockholm metro. The station is located on the blue line between T-Centralen and Fridhemsplan and was opened on 31 August 1975. The underground station is named after Rådhuset (The Court House) right above the surface. Here you will also find City Hall and the Police Headquarters.
Polar Studios
Polar Studios is one of the most famous recording studios in Scandinavia. Originally located in a former movie theater from 1934 at Sankt Eriksgatan 58-60 on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden, Polar Studios was founded by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA in 1977 and had its grand opening on May 18 the year after. Led Zeppelin recorded their 1979 studio album, In Through the Out Door, at Polar Studios a few months after its grand opening.
Sankt Eriksplan
Sankt Eriksplan is a square in Vasastaden, Stockholm. The name means Saint Erik's Plaza and is called so after King Erik IX who is the patron saint of Stockholm and depicted in the city's coat of arms. There is a metro station named after the square. The subway station was opened in 1952 and is on the green line between Odenplan and Fridhemsplan. The main street of the S:t Eriksplan area is Rörstrandsgatan with its many shops and restaurants.
Klara (Stockholm)
Klara (also known, in Swedish, as Klarakvarteren) is a part of lower Norrmalm in the central part of Stockholm. It has its name from Klara Church. Today the name, though not often used in daily speech, has become synonymous with the old city that once occupied lower Norrmalm.
Stockholm Court House
Stockholm Court House is situated on Kungsholmen in Central Stockholm, Sweden. The building was constructed between 1909 and 1915. The architecture is influenced by the Castles of the Vasa era and it bears a resemblance to Vadstena Castle. The building is connected to Stockholm Police House through a culvert. A fire ravaged the third floor of the south/left wing of the building in June 2008.

Eastmaninstitutet
Eastmaninstitutet (The Eastman Institute) is a dental care center for children located in Vasastaden, Stockholm, Sweden. It was built by donations from the American inventor George Eastman and opened in 1937. The institute provided free dental care for children in Stockholm. For some years the Eastman Institute was unique, but later social democratic reforms made dental care free for all children in Sweden.

Barnhusbron
Barnhusbron is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Passing over Barnhusviken, it connects Kungsholmen to Norrmalm. It is 23 metres wide and 290 metres long with a maximum span of 64.5 metres. The roadway is made of prestressed concrete except for two non-tensioned concrete section in its eastern end.
Sankt Eriksbron
Sankt Eriksbron is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Passing over Barnhusviken it connects Kungsholmen to Norrmalm. The present construction was inaugurated in 1937. Neighbouring bridges are: Kungsbron, Barnhusbron, Stadshusbron, Klarabergsviadukten, and Ekelundsbron.
Blekholmsbron
Blekholmsbron is a pedestrian bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Klara Sjö, it connects Norrmalm to Kungsholmen. The bridge is about 55 metres long between the abutments, of which some 32 metres passes over water with a horizontal clearance of 3,3 metres. It is named after Blekholmen ("The Bleaching Islet"), a small islet once located in Klara Sjö until continuous landfilling made it part of Norrmalm during the 18th century.
Sabbatsbergs sjukhus
Sabbatsbergs sjukhus is a hospital in Vasastan, Stockholm. It was opened in 1879. In 1986, Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme was pronounced dead at 00:06 CET on March 1 at Sabbatsbergs Hospital, after having been shot in the street earlier that night. The emergency clinic at Sabbatsberg closed in 1994. It is no longer operated as a hospital, although some healthcare-related activities are still located on the grounds, which partially have been rebuilt as housing.

Barnhusviken
Barnhusviken (Swedish for "Orphanage Bay") is a body of water in central Stockholm, Sweden. Separating the island Kungsholmen from the mainland district Norrmalm north of it, it connects Karlbergssjön to Klara Sjö. Together with Karlbergskanalen, Karlbergssjön, and Klara Sjö, Barnhusviken constitute the nameless body of water which separates Kungsholmen from the city districts Norrmalm and Vasastaden and the northern suburb Solna.
Norr Mälarstrand
Norr Mälarstrand (Swedish for "Northern Mälaren Shore") is a street on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm, Sweden. Bordering Riddarfjärden, the eastern-most bay of Lake Mälaren, Norr Mälarstrand is a southbound boulevard stretching 1,4 km (4.500 ft) west from the Stockholm City Hall to the southern end of the street Sankt Eriksgatan. The most notable structures along the street are the series of functionalist residential buildings lined-up along its western part.
Fridhemsplan metro station
Fridhemsplan metro station is a station of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Kungsholmen. The station consists of two combined station parts, one for the green line and one for the blue line. There is a track connection between the trails. The first part was opened in 1952 and the platform is around 18 meters under the ground. The distance to Slussen is 4.9 km.

Helsinki Court House
Helsinki Court House is situated on Salmisaari in Helsinki, Finland. The building was constructed between 1937 and 1940. The building was originally Alko's headquarters, factory and main storage. The building was partially reconstructed in 2004, when it became a court house.

Kungsbrohuset
Kungsbrohuset (also known as Schibstedhuset) is an office building between Kungsbron and Klarabergsviadukten in the development area of Västra city in central Stockholm. The building was opened on 6 May 2010. Principal architect was Kerstin Heijde of Strategisk Arkitektur. The building has thirteen floors, ten above street level.
