Stockholm Observatory
The Stockholm Observatory is an astronomical institution in Stockholm, Sweden, founded in the 18th century and today part of Stockholm University. Its history is connected to two actual historical observatory complexes in the Stockholm area. The first observatory was established by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences on the initiative of its secretary Per Elvius. Construction, according to designs by the architect Carl Hårleman, was begun in 1748, and the building was completed in 1753.

Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium
Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium (VRG) is a group of three gymnasium (upper secondary schools) in Stockholm, Sweden named after the famous Swedish author Viktor Rydberg. The three upper secondary schools are VRG Djursholm, VRG Odenplan and VRG Jarlaplan, run by the Viktor Rydberg Schools Foundation. The foundation also runs a secondary school, Djursholm Samskola. At all three schools, both English and Swedish are used as the language of instruction.

Stockholm Public Library is a library building in Stockholm, Sweden, designed by Swedish architect Gunnar Asplund, and one of the city's most notable structures. The name is today used for both the main library itself as well as the municipal library system of the Region of Stockholm.
Strindberg Museum
The Strindberg Museum is a museum in Stockholm, Sweden, dedicated to the writer August Strindberg and located in his last dwelling, in the house he nicknamed "Blå tornet" (The Blue Tower) on 85, Drottninggatan, at the corner of Drottninggatan and Tegnérgatan on Norrmalm, Stockholm. The Museum is owned by the Strindberg Society of Sweden and was inaugurated in 1973. Strindberg moved to the house in 1908 and lived there until his death in 1912.
Odenplan
Odenplan is a plaza located in the district Vasastaden in central Stockholm, Sweden, named after the old Norse god Odin. The Odenplan metro station, opened in 1952, is located here. A current expansion project, started in 2006 and due for completion in 2011, will make the plaza one of Stockholm’s largest public transportation hubs. Odenplan was part of an experiment where the stairs were replaced with large piano keys. Over 60% more people used the stairs than the escalator.
Vanadislunden
Vanadislunden is a big park area in Stockholm, Sweden, located in Vasastaden. The area is named after Vanadis, which is another name for the Norse Goddess Freyja. The abandoned Hotell Vanadis in the area has a myth known to many native Stockholmers. The story tells of a boy in a red hood and a girl sitting by the currently abandoned pool. To Swedes the myth is known as "Pernilla och Rödluvan". It is said that if you give them the keys to the hotels entrance they will vanish forever.
Vasaparken, Stockholm
Vasaparken is a park in Stockholm, Sweden, located in Vasastaden and named after the Royal Vasa Dynasty. The park lies between the two squares Odenplan and Sankt Eriksplan. South of the park lies the Sabbatsberg hospital. Vasaparken was established in this area in 19th century and during World War I, the park was used to grow potatoes for the city.
Rådmansgatan metro station
Rådmansgatan Stockholm metro station is located in Vasastaden, by the Sveavägen street and the Rådmansgatan street. The station was opened in 1952. The station is decorated with yellow tiles, and the theme in some of the artwork is August Strindberg.
Scheffler Palace
The Scheffler Palace, commonly known as the Haunted Mansion (Spökslottet), is a mansion located at Drottninggatan 116 in Stockholm, Sweden. The mansion, which was built in the 1690s by the merchant Hans Petter Scheffler, is the most famous, so called "haunted house" in Stockholm. Since the 1920s, the estate is owned by Stockholm University and mostly used for storage of art and to occasionally hold conferences. There are many different ghostly stories about the house and its park.
Wenner-Gren Center
Wenner-Gren Center is a tower and building complex in Vasastaden, Stockholm, Sweden. The building was constructed 1959–1961, and opened in 1962. The Center consists of three buildings named Helicon, Pylon and Tetragon. Pylon is a high tower, Helicon is a lower semicircular part surrounding the tower, and Tetragon is a box-shaped building next to the tower.
Tegnérlunden
Tegnérlunden is a park at the border of city districts Norrmalm and Vasastaden in Stockholm. It was originally erected 1890, but was re-constructed in 1940. It is home to statues of two Swedish authors. On a hill in the parks's eastern part stands Carl Eldh's massive statue of August Strindberg, erected in 1942. A statue of Astrid Lindgren was erected in 1996. It also lies close to Enskilda Gymnasiet, one of Sweden's most prestigious schools.
Stallmästaregården
Stallmästaregården (or Stallmästargården) is a historic inn adjacent to the park around the Royal Pavilion at Haga in Solna, just north of the Stockholm city limits. It has existed since the 17th century, and is mentioned numerous times in the works of August Strindberg.
Sveavägen
Sveavägen is a major street in Stockholm, Sweden. The street starts at Sergels torg in the city center and goes north out of the city towards the Haga Park. It is often known as the busiest road in Sweden. It is also famous for being the street where Prime Minister Olof Palme was assassinated on 28 February 1986.
Lilla Akademien
Lilla Akademien is a school, founded 1994, which is specially focused on developing musical talent in children, located in Stockholm, Sweden. The Artistic Director and founder of the school is Nina Balabina, Russian violinist and who is also a violin teacher at the school. Lilla Akademien, best translated as "The Junior Academy", is a unique school specialising in classical music.
Eastmaninstitutet
Eastmaninstitutet (The Eastman Institute) is a dental care center for children located in Vasastaden, Stockholm, Sweden. It was built by donations from the American inventor George Eastman and opened in 1937. The institute provided free dental care for children in Stockholm. For some years the Eastman Institute was unique, but later social democratic reforms made dental care free for all children in Sweden.
Sabbatsbergs sjukhus
Sabbatsbergs sjukhus is a hospital in Vasastan, Stockholm. It was opened in 1879. In 1986, Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme was pronounced dead at 00:06 CET on March 1 at Sabbatsbergs Hospital, after having been shot in the street earlier that night. The emergency clinic at Sabbatsberg closed in 1994. It is no longer operated as a hospital, although some healthcare-related activities are still located on the grounds, which partially have been rebuilt as housing.
Blå tornet
Blå tornet (lit. "The Blue Tower") is a house in Stockholm, built in 1907 that was the last residence of August Strindberg, (1908–1912). Located at Drottninggatan 85, it is today the Strindberg Museum. At the ground floor is a Strindberg themed bar called "Inferno".
Enskilda Gymnasiet
Enskilda Gymnasiet (EG) is a prestigious independent upper secondary school from the 10th-12th grade and school from the 6th-9th grade, founded in 1913. Enskilda Gymnasiet is located in Tegnérlunden, in central Stockholm, Sweden. There are long waiting lists to the school, which accepts only 60 new students each year. The school is the 10-year champion of DN Nutidsorientering, a general knowledge competition, in which over 90 percent of all schools in Sweden participate.

Odenplan metro station
Odenplan metro station is a station on the green line of the Stockholm metro, located by Odenplan in Vasastaden, central Stockholm. The station was inaugurated on 26 October 1952. The distance to Slussen is 3.4 km.
Observatorielunden
Observatorielunden is a park in Stockholm's Vasastaden district. It stretches over the steep hill Observatoriekullen, one of the last remnants of Brunkebergsåsen, the esker that once reached across much of Norrmalm but was mostly levelled during the development of that district. Observatorielunden is bordered by the streets Odengatan to the north, Sveavägen to the east, Kungstensgatan to the south, Drottninggatan to the southwest, and Norrtullsgatan, Sandåsgatan and Gyldéngatan to the west.
Bellevue (Stockholm)
Bellevue is a park in northern Stockholm and part of the Ekoparken. Located in Bellevue is the studio of the famous sculptor Carl Eldh (1873 - 1954), today a museum: "Carl Eldh Ateljémuseum". There is also a statue of August Strindberg by Carl Eldh in the park.
