Furuset
Furuset was a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway up to January 1, 2004, when it became part of the new borough of Alna.
Romsås
Romsås was a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway, until January 1, 2004, when it became part of the Grorud (Romsås) district. By 1850 Romsås was one of the biggest farms in Østre Aker and the name Romsås came from the farm. With the expansion of Oslo city after the second World War, Oslo Kommune allowed OBOS to build a new borough in 1967 and this project was started in 1969.

Furuset Forum
Furuset Forum is an indoor sports arena located in the eastern parts of Oslo, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 1,498 and was built in 1979. Its main focus is ice hockey, but also regular indoor sports facilities currently utilized by Handball, Floorball and more. Located in Søren Bulls vei, it is within proximity of the underground trains.
Stovner (station)
Stovner is a subway station on Grorudbanen (Line 5) on the Oslo Metro, between Rommen and the end station Vestli, it was opened in 1974. The station is underground, at the entry of the tunnel. At or above the station is the large Stovner shopping centre, the Stovner police station, and a small bus terminal. Stovner is mainly a residential area.
Ellingsrudåsen (station)
Ellingsrudåsen is a subway station on the Oslo Metro, located at Ellingsrud in the Alna borough. Since its opening on 8 November 1981, it has been the end station for the Furuset Line (Line 2). Ellingsrudåsen is mostly a residential area, above the station are a few shops. Ellingsrudåsen is located deep underground, and elevators are the usual means of getting to and from the station. Like Romsås, Ellingsrudåsen has natural mountain walls.
Romsås (station)
Romsås is a subway station on Grorud Line on the Oslo Metro in the Grorud borough. It is located in the tunnel between Grorud and Rommen. Like Ellingsrudåsen, Romsås has natural mountain walls. The architect Håkon Mjelva was together with civil engineer Elliot Strømme and entrepreneur F. Selmer awarded the "Concrete board for outstanding construction" in 1976.
Furuset (station)
Furuset is an Oslo Metro station in the Furuset borough. It is the penultimate station on the Furuset Line, between Lindeberg and Ellingsrudåsen. The station is located under a fairly large shopping centre, and there is also a small bus terminal above the station. Architects were Økaw Arkitekter. Furuset was opened 19 February 1978 when the line was extended from Trosterud. It was the end station until 8 November 1981 when the line was completed to Ellingsrudåsen.
Grorud (station)
Grorud is a rapid transit station on the Oslo Metro. Located between Ammerud and Romsås on Grorud Line, it serves the Grorud borough. The station is located on the south side of a tunnel entrance. Above the station is a small cluster of shops and a small bus terminal. The station was the end station of the original section of the Grorud Line, which opened 16 October 1966, and remained the end station until it was extended to Rommen on 3 March 1974.
Ammerud (station)
Ammerud is the station on Grorud Line of the Oslo Metro between Kalbakken and Grorud. It is located in the Grorud borough. Ammerud is part of the original stretch of Grorudbanen opened 16 October 1966. The Ammerud neighborhood is mostly residential. The subway station is located on the south side and much of the neighborhood is beyond reasonable walking distance, so a shuttle bus is required.
Kalbakken (station)
Kalbakken is the station on Grorud Line of the Oslo Metro between Rødtvet and Ammerud. It is located in the Grorud borough. Kalbakken is part of the original stretch of the Grorud Line opened 16 October 1966. The Kalbakken neighbourhood is mostly residential. The subway station is located on a hill on the north side and much of the neighbourhood is within reasonable walking distance, such as the general shopping and food stores.
Trosterud (station)
Trosterud is a station on Furusetbanen (line 2) in the Alna borough between Haugerud and Lindeberg, 8.4 km from Stortinget. The station is located overground, but is inside the Trosterud shopping centre, and not an open air station. It is located in a largely residential area with several apartment buildings. The station was opened on 15 December 1974 and was the end station until 19 February 1978. Formerly, Trosterud was one of the more blighted and unattractive stations in the east.
Rommen (station)
Rommen is a Norwegian Oslo Metro station on Grorud Line between Romsås and Stovner, 13 km from Stortinget. It is located immediately east of the entrance to the tunnel which runs under the Romsås hill. The station was opened 13 March 1974 and was the end stop for the Grorud Line until it was extended to Stovner on 18 August the same year. Rommen is located in a fairly industrial area, near industries such as the brush manufacturer Jordan AS. Also near the station is Grorud Fire Station.
Grorud Valley
The Grorud Valley is a broad valley in eastern Oslo. Four of Oslo's boroughs, Bjerke in the west, Alna in the south, Grorud in the north, and Stovner in the east, lie within the valley. The population of the valley is around 165,000, while there are about 60,000 people employed there. The main population centers are on the valley sides, the valley basin has fewer houses but a fair amount of industry.
Rødtvet (station)
Rødtvet is a station on Grorud Line (Line 5) of the Oslo Metro. The station is located in north-central Groruddalen, between the stations of Veitvet and Kalbakken, 9.5 kilometers from Stortinget. The station was opened 10 October 1966 as part of the original stretch of the Grorud Line. The station's architect was Karl Stenersen.
Lindeberg (station)
Lindeberg is an Oslo Metro station on the Furuset Line (line 2) between Trosterud and Furuset. The station was opened on 19 February 1978 with the opening of the Trosterud-Furuset stretch of the line. The station is located underground. The area is residential, but there is also a small hill for downhill skiing, Jerikobakken, in the vicinity.
Haukåsen Radar
Haukåsen Radar is one of two air traffic control radars serving Oslo's Gardermoen Airport, the other being the airport radar itself. The radar is a landmark structure visible from most of Oslo and its surroundings, located inside a white radome on the hillcrest Haukåsen in Østmarka, elevation 357 meters above sea level, south-east of the suburb of Haugerud in the Grorud Valley. The first radar to be built here in 1964, is exhibited at the National Aviation Museum in Bodø in Northern Norway.

Grorud Station is a railway station on the Trunk Line in Oslo, Norway. Located in the Grorud borough, it is served by the Oslo Commuter Rail operated by Norwegian State Railways running from Lillestrøm via Oslo S to Asker. The station is as old as the Norwegian railway network itself, and was opened in 1854.

Haugenstua is a railway station on the Trunk Line in Oslo, Norway. Located at Haugenstua, it is served by the Oslo Commuter Rail line 400 operated by the Norwegian State Railways running from Lillestrøm via Oslo S to Asker. The station was built in 1937, and received a new northbound platform in 2007.

Lutvann
Lutvann is a lake in the recreational area Østmarka in Oslo, Norway. It covers an area of 0.39 km², at 205 m elevation. Located just outiside the capital city, it is a popular site for recreation, including swimming and fishing during summer, with brook trout in the lake. In the winter there are ski trails along and on the lake. The lake is also used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for baptism.

Bredtvet
Bredtvet is a neighborhood in the borough of Bjerke in Oslo, Norway. Its origin is a farm of the same name. Its first private owner is registered in 1662, and from 1817 to 1824 it was owned by Hans Nielsen Hauge. Bredtvet is also a parish in the Church of Norway, created in 1966 although the church was not erected until 1977. It is known for Bredtveit prison. An upper secondary school named Bredtvet was established in 1972, but closed down in 2008.

Grorud Church
Grorud church is a cruciform church from 1902 located on the upper Grorud in Grorud in Oslo, Norway. The church is located on a hill and is visible from many parts of the Grorud Valley. The building is made of local Grorud Granite stone (Grefsensyenitt) and has 500 seats. Stone walls' uneven appearance, which gives the wall a live appearance, because the stones varies between roughly hewn uneven surface, and smooth surface. The smooth cut stones are centered around the corners and windows.
