The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, abbreviated NRK, is the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, and the largest media organisation in Norway. NRK mainly consists of three TV channels and three radio channels broadcasted through DVB-T, Cable Networks, Satelitte Networks, IPTV, FM broadcasting as well as DAB. Majorstuen
Majorstuen or Majorstua is an affluent neighbourhood in the Frogner borough in the western part of Oslo, Norway. Majorstuen is known for its vibrant downtown, especially its shopping area. The area has several elegant townhouses circa 1880-1890. The area is also an important public transport junction in Oslo, where all metro lines, three tram lines and five bus lines operate. It is served by Majorstuen station.

Majorstuen (station)
Majorstuen is a subway station on the Oslo Metro and a light rail station on the Briskeby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in the Majorstuen neighborhood in the Frogner borough. Majorstuen is shared by all the subway lines, and, being located just after the tunnel entrance, it is the only such station not located underground. Majorstuen was originally the end station for Holmenkollbanen, and remained so until the tunnel to Nationaltheatret Station was completed.
Frøen (station)
Frøen is a station on the Oslo Metro in the Vestre Aker borough, it is the first station on the Holmenkollen Line after Majorstuen. The name refers to Frøen Gård, a stately estate located near the present location of the t-bane station, of which now only the manor house remains. Previously, trains switched from third rail which was used on most of the network (now all), to overhead wire which was used on Holmenkollbanen, at Frøen.
Blindern (station)
Blindern is a rapid transit station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro. It is located in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. Served by lines 3, 4 and 6, the station is located adjacent to the main campus of the University of Oslo, Blindern. Until 1999, the station served as terminus of line 5, that ran along the Grorud Line. The station was opened in 1934, and was originally named Blindernveien.

Valkyrie plass
Valkyrie plass is a square in Oslo, Norway, located one block southeast of Majorstuen. The square is triangular in shape, and boundaried by the streets Valkyriegata, Bogstadveien and Jacob Aall's gate. It is named after Norse female warrior deities called the valkyries. The Common Tunnel of the Oslo T-bane system passes beneath Valkyrie plass, and there was a station beneath the square from 1912 to 1985.
University Library of Oslo
The University Library of Oslo (Norwegian: Universitetsbiblioteket i Oslo, UBO) is a library connected to the University of Oslo. Like the University, it was established in 1811 with Georg Sverdrup as the first head librarian. It originally doubled as the Norwegian national library, and was located at the old University of Oslo campus. In 1913 the current library building in Henrik Ibsens gate was completed. Head librarian at the time, from 1876 to 1922, was Axel Drolsum.
Volvat (station)
Volvat is a disused rapid transit station on the Oslo T-bane. The underground station was located between Majorstuen and Borgen, and opened in 1939. The platform length was only large enough to accommodate two cars. When the Røa Line was upgraded to metro standard on 5 February 1995, it started bypassing Volvat. Finally, as of 7 April 1997 the station was taken out of service when the Kolsås Line trains were extended from two to three cars.
Frogner stadion
Frogner stadion is a sports stadium in Oslo, Norway, which has artificial ice in the winter for speed skating and bandy. The artificial grass is doing the sommertime used for soccer and american football. It is located close to the Frogner Park, between the park and Majorstuen. Gaustad is a neighborhood in Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located between Vinderen and Kringsjå. At Gaustad are Rikshospitalet and Gaustad Hospital, as well as residential areas that border to Nordmarka. Tha area is served by Rikshospitalet Station on the Ullevål Hageby Line of Oslo Tramway, and Gaustad Station on the Holmenkoll Line of Oslo T-bane. Ring 3 runs through the neightborhood.

Briskeby is an area in the borough Frogner in Oslo, Norway. Originally a rural area in the former municipality Aker, it was incorporated into Christiania city in 1878. It received public transport with the Briskeby Line in 1894.

Seatower is a Norwegian provider of foundations for Offshore wind power. The company, with roots from the offshore oil and gas industry back to 1994, has its headquarters in Oslo. Seatower's main products are the Cranefree foundations. In November 2011, Seatower announced a strategic partnership with MT Højgaard for supply of the Cranefree foundations.
Frognerbadet
Frognerbadet ("the Frogner Baths") is a pool complex in the borough of Frogner in Oslo, Norway. It was designed by architect Frode Rinnan. Located adjacent to Frognerparken, it opened in 1956, and doubles as a public bath and swimming pool and a professional swimming venue. Also, the festival Norwegian Wood is hosted within its premises.

Schultz' gate is at tram station on the Oslo Tramway. It is preceded and succeeded by Majorstuen and Rosenborg stations, respectively.
Rosenborg (station)
Rosenborg is a station on the Oslo Tramway. It is located in the area with the same name in the neighbourhood of Hegdehaugen. The station is preceded by Schultz' gate on the Briskeby Line and succeeded by Homansbyen and Uranienborgveien on the Homansby and Briskeby Line, respectively. In 2005, the station was upgraded, with heightened platforms, new skeds and real-time monitors.
Hegdehaugen
Hegdehaugen is a neighbourhood in the borough Frogner of Oslo, Norway. It is located in the West End between Homansbyen and Majorstuen. The name origins from the man's name Heide. Urban settlement in the area started in the 1860s, and the neighbourhood was incorporated in the city in 1878.
Uranienborgveien (station)
Uranienborgveien is at station on the Briskeby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It serves the neighborhoods Hegdehaugen and Uranienborg in the West End of Oslo. The station is preceded and succeeded by Rosenborg and Briskeby, respectively. The station used to be near the Holtegata—Uranienborgveien street junction, but it was moved towards Hegdehaugen and Rosenborg in 2009, after the line had been upgraded and reconstructed.
Bogstadveien
Bogstadveien is a street in the district of Frogner in Oslo, Norway. Bogstadveien features many of the city's wide range of exclusive shops as well as entertainment, hotels and restaurants. The road is also known for the two annual car-free shopping events called the Bilfri Bogstadvei. Bogstadveien stretches from the neighbourhood of Majorstuen to the neighbourhood of Hegdehaugen.
Uranienborg Church
Uranienborg church is in Uranienborg height, next to Uranienborg park behind the Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway. The church was designed by Balthazar Lange and was consecrated on 22 December 1886 and had 1020 seats. The building is given a sober Gothic feel and is decorated with frescoes by Enevold Thømt and stained glass by the artist Emanuel Vigeland. In 1930 the interior received its present form by architect Arnstein Arneberg. The church has 1020 seats.
