Vinderen
Vinderen is a neighbourhood in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It was a separate borough until 1 January 2004, when it was incorporated into the newly established borough of Vestre Aker. Its amenities include Vinderen station. The prosperous avenue of Tuengen Allé in Vinderen was the childhood home of Queen Sonja of Norway at 1B; and the current embassy of China in Norway at 2B.
Rikshospitalet–Radiumhospitalet
Rikshospitalet–Radiumhospitalet Hospital Trust was created in 2005 when Rikshospitalet merged with the Norwegian Radium Hospital. The trust belongs to the Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. The board of directors is chaired by Steinar Marthinsen.
Frøen (station)
Frøen is a station on the Oslo Metro in the Vestre Aker borough, it is the first station on the Holmenkollen Line after Majorstuen. The name refers to Frøen Gård, a stately estate located near the present location of the t-bane station, of which now only the manor house remains. Previously, trains switched from third rail which was used on most of the network (now all), to overhead wire which was used on Holmenkollbanen, at Frøen.
Ris (station)
Ris is a station on the Holmenkollen Line of the Oslo Metro between Gaustad and Slemdal, located in the Vestre Aker borough. The station is located at an altitude of 121.3 meters and had 366 daily passengers in 2004. The Ris church and cemetery is located on the south side of the line and west of the station.
Gaustad (station)
Gaustad is an Oslo Metro station on Holmenkollen Line (Line 2) between Vinderen and Ris, at an altitude of 101.4 meters http://www. sporveien. no/templates/Page____1019. aspx. The outer highway ring of Oslo (Ring 3) crosses the railway at Gaustad. Gaustad is the subway station closest to Rikshospitalet, although the tram system has a stop even closer. Many people leaving along Line 1 alight at Gaustad to come to Ullevaal Stadion although Ullevaal Stadion has its own station.
Borgen (station)
Borgen is a station shared by the Røa Line (line 2) and the Kolsås Line (line 6) on the Oslo T-bane system. The station is between Majorstuen and Smestad, and 3.8 km from the central station Stortinget. The station is located on a stretch where the line runs alongside Sørkedalsveien. The large Vestre gravlund cemetery is situated to the south of the station. The station was opened on 17 November 1912 as part of a branch line to Holmenkollbanen which went to Smestad and was later extended.
Steinerud (station)
Steinerud is a station on the lower part of Holmenkoll Line (line 1) of the Oslo T-bane system. It is located between Frøen and Vinderen at an altitude of 75.6 metres above sea level. The station had 244 passengers daily in 2004. The station was built in 1900, two years after the line was opened. It opened as Diakonhjemmet, and was located on Stasjonsveien, where the road intersected with Lille Borgenveien and Sverrestien, and built to serve the near-by hospital Diakonhjemmet.

Vinderen is a station on the lower part of the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) of the Oslo Metro. It is located between Steinerud and Gaustad at an altitude of 86.6 meters above mean sea level. The station had 813 passengers daily in 2004. and also has corresponding bus services. The area is mainly residential.

Gulleråsen (station)
Gulleråsen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) of the Oslo Metro. It is between Vettakollen and Gråkammen. The station was opened on 31 May 1898 as part of the tramway to Besserud. Gulleråsen lies in a tight 80 m radius curve, and there was a snag when the line was upgraded to handle MX3000 trains. When the line was tested with the new stock, it was found that the gap between the inbound platform edge and train door was 54 cm, this is unacceptably wide for safety reasons.

Vettakollen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (line 1) of the Oslo Metro. It is between Skådalen and Gulleråsen. The station was opened on 31 May 1898 as part of the tramway to Besserud. The station was originally opened as Greveveien, but changed its name a few months after the opening.

Heggeli (station)
Heggeli is a former subway station on the Oslo T-bane. The station was located between Borgen and Smestad, and was opened when the Smestad Line was created, as an extension from Majorstuen to Smestad on 17 November 1912. It was closed as a part of the Røa Line overhaul in 1995.
Oslo University Hospital
The Oslo University Hospital (Norwegian: Oslo universitetssykehus HF) is one of the largest hospitals in Scandinavia, with a work force of more than 20,000. It was established on 1 January 2009, by the merger of three of the university hospitals in Oslo: Rikshospitalet (The National Hospital) (founded in 1826, and also including the former Radiumhospitalet), Ullevål University Hospital (founded 1887), and Aker University Hospital (founded 1895).
Volvat (station)
Volvat is a disused rapid transit station on the Oslo T-bane. The underground station was located between Majorstuen and Borgen, and opened in 1939. The platform length was only large enough to accommodate two cars. When the Røa Line was upgraded to metro standard on 5 February 1995, it started bypassing Volvat. Finally, as of 7 April 1997 the station was taken out of service when the Kolsås Line trains were extended from two to three cars.
Vestre gravlund
Vestre gravlund ('Western Cemetery') is a cemetery in the Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway, located next to the Borgen metro station. At 243 acres, it is the largest cemetery in Norway. It was inaugurated in September 1902 and also contains a crematorium.
Engerjordet (station)
Engerjordet is a former light rail station on the Holmenkollen Line in Oslo, Norway. The station was taken into use after the other stations, that had opened in 1898. While Johannes Harbitz was chair of the operating company Holmenkolbanen in 1905 and 1906, the trams would stop just outside his house, that was located between Ris and Slemdal, where Heyerdahls vei intersects Slemdsalsveien.

Rikshospitalet is a light rail tram station at the end of the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at Rikshospitalet, the Norwegian National Hospital, at Gaustad in Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 1 June 1999 as part of the line extension when the hospital opened. The expansion was financed by Oslo Package 2. The station is served by lines 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams. This allow step-free access from and to all stations until the city center.

Gaustad is a neighborhood in Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located between Vinderen and Kringsjå. At Gaustad are Rikshospitalet and Gaustad Hospital, as well as residential areas that border to Nordmarka. Tha area is served by Rikshospitalet Station on the Ullevål Hageby Line of Oslo Tramway, and Gaustad Station on the Holmenkoll Line of Oslo T-bane. Ring 3 runs through the neightborhood.

Gaustadalléen is a light rail station on the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located where the road Gaustadalléen passes under Ring 3 in Gaustad in Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 1 June 1999 as part of the extension of the Ullevål Hageby Line to Rikshospitalet. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles.
Slemdal
Slemdal is a neighborhood in the borough of Vestre Aker in Oslo, Norway. The neighborhood lies south of Vettakollen, and was built up from the 1890s. It is served by the Oslo Metro station Slemdal. The local sports team is IL Heming.
Ris, Norway
Ris (formerly written Riis) is a neighborhood in the borough of Vestre Aker in Oslo, Norway. It has its origins in Ris farm, which is known from medieval times. Crofts under Ris farm include Trosterud and Slemdal. In 1898 the Holmenkollen Line was opened, and went past Ris. The farming area was subsequently parcelled out and built up. The area is currently served by Ris station. Ris Church, designed by Carl Berner, was inaugurated in 1932.
Ris Church
Ris Church is a church in Ris, Oslo, Norway. The church was built in the spring of 1932 and was consecrated on 12 June 1932. The costs amounted to 723,000 Norwegian krones including gifts for a sum of 284,000. The church had originally about 750 seats, but after a few benches in the back and the church gallery was removed, the church has today approximately 500 seats. Because of the shape of the plot, the Ris Church in north-south, unlike most churches that are oriented west-east.
