Bjerke

Bjerke is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. The most densely populated residential areas are located along the Trondheimsveien, including the high-rise apartment blocks of Linderud. The shopping centre at Linderud is also home to the borough council's administration. The northern areas of the borough are bordered by the vast woodlands of Oslomarka. Grefsen

Grefsen is a neighbourhood of the city of Oslo, Norway. Together with Kjelsås, Grefsen was part of the borough Grefsen-Kjelsås until January 1, 2004, when they became part of the new borough of Nordre Aker. Grefsen and Kjelsås were also part of the former municipality of Aker before the Second World War, when the city of Oslo was confined to today's central areas. The railway line Gjøvikbanen goes through the area, but Grefsen Station is actually located closer to the neighbourhood of Disen.

Vallhall Arena

Vallhall Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena, located in Valle-Hovin, Oslo, Norway. The stadium has a capacity of 5,500 people, during matches. The Tippeligaen club Vålerenga uses the arena for training and friendly matches in the winter off-season. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The arena also serves as an event arena. Økern (station)

Økern is a metro station on the No 5, Grorud Line of the Oslo Metro system, situated between stations Hasle and Risløkka in the lower parts of the Grorud Valley. It is located 2.7 km northeast of station Stortinget (the Parliament). The station is part of the original stretch of the Grorud Line, and was opened on 16 October 1966. In 2010, the station was refurbished and partly rebuilt. New platforms are fitted with snowmelt systems, i. e. heating cables in the uppermost layer.

The station is among the original ones on Grorudbanen, and opened on 10 October 1966. Peer Qvaam was the station's architect. The local road Lunden passes under the station immediately north of the station. There is no major bus connection, although there is a bus stop on the Østre Aker Vei highway to the south.

Alna Station

Alna railway station is a stop within Oslo, Norway on the Trunk Line which runs between Oslo Central Station and Lillestrøm. It is the second stop from Oslo S, between Bryn and Nyland, in Groruddalen, 6.87 km from Oslo S. On the east side of the station is the Alnabru train yard. Even though Hovedbanen is the oldest in Norway, the station was first opened in 1971. The station is unmanned.

Alnabru–Grefsen Line

The Alnabru–Grefsen Line is a 5-kilometre long Norwegian railway line between Alnabru Station and Grefsen Station in Oslo. The line was built in 1901 to allow trains to go directly from the Gjøvik Line to the Hoved Line or Alnabru Freight Terminal. There is little traffic left on the line, only about four to eight trains daily, and no passenger traffic.

Bredtvet

Bredtvet is a neighborhood in the borough of Bjerke in Oslo, Norway. Its origin is a farm of the same name. Its first private owner is registered in 1662, and from 1817 to 1824 it was owned by Hans Nielsen Hauge. Bredtvet is also a parish in the Church of Norway, created in 1966 although the church was not erected until 1977. It is known for Bredtveit prison. An upper secondary school named Bredtvet was established in 1972, but closed down in 2008.

Alnabru Station is a former rail station on the Trunk Line in eastern Oslo, Norway. Alnabru was opened in 1902. The station had passengers, but was mainly concerned with goods. The Alnabru–Grefsen Line opened in 1901 and Loenga–Alnabru Line opened in 1907, and a large goods terminal was opened at the station. In 1971, the Alnabru–Grefsen Line was closed as a mainline station, the Trunk Line instead went around the area, and a new station, Alna, opened outside it.

The farms Valle and Hovin were both bought by Oslo Municipality in 1915.
