Helsfyr-Sinsen
Helsfyr-Sinsen was a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway up to January 1, 2004, when it was split and merged into Alna and Gamle Oslo boroughs. It consisted of the neighborhoods Helsfyr, Teisen, Etterstad, Keyserløkka, Lille Tøyen, Valle, Løren, Carl Berners plass, Rosenhoff and Sinsen.

Vålerenga is a neighbourhood in the city of Oslo, Norway, belonging to the borough of Gamle Oslo. Vålerenga is located between the neighbourhoods of Gamlebyen, Jordal, Ensjø, Etterstad and Lodalen. It is the world's second-largest football tournament, after Gothia Cup, and sees a typical 1400 to 1600 participating teams per year. Norway cup consists of tournaments for ages 10 through 19 for both genders, with 43,141 teams having participated between 1972 and 2009. The tournament takes place at Ekebergsletta.
Ekebergsletta
Ekebergsletta is a field in Ekeberg, Oslo, Norway. For most people, Ekebergsletta is known as the place where the Norway Cup started in 1972 and which is still one of many places around Oslo where the game is held. Roald Amundsen landed his Airship Norge here for a few hours in 1926 on his way to towards the north pole. The foundation of the mast used by the airship can still be found.

Ensjø is a station on the Oslo Metro located in the borough of Gamle Oslo. The station is shared by the Østensjø-, Lambertseter- and Furuset Line. It is the first station on the east side after emerging from the downtown Common Tunnel for these lines. The station is located between Tøyen and Helsfyr. Ensjø is mostly a commercial area, with a large number of car dealerships.

Helsfyr is a subway station on the east side of the Oslo Metro system located in the borough of Gamle Oslo. The station is shared by the Furuset Line (Line 2), the Østensjø Line (Line 3) and the Lambertseter Line (Line 4). In addition, Line 1, which runs on Holmenkollen Line in the west, terminates at Helsfyr (during rush hour, however, line 1 is extended to Ellingsrudåsen). The station is located between Ensjø in the west and Brynseng in the east. Helsfyr is located underground.

Ryen is a station on Lambertseter Line of the Oslo Metro. It is between Manglerud and Brattlikollen, and located in the Østensjø borough where the Lambertseter Line crosses the E6 highway. Ryen Depot is a workshop and train yards for the subway company, therefore Ryen is a station where some early morning trains originate and some late evening trains terminate.
Tøyen (station)
Tøyen is a rapid transit station located in the Common Tunnel of Oslo Metro in Norway. Located in the borough of Gamle Oslo, it is also called "Tøyen-Munchmuseet" due to its proximity to the art museum. It is the last station on the east side shared by all lines; the Grorud Line and Ring Line departs from the other four lines at Tøyen. The station has three platforms, on the south side is a platform for all outbound trains.
Tøyen Station
Tøyen Station is a railway station located in Oslo on the Gjøvik Line. It is located in the borough of Grünerløkka and is the first stop on the line after Oslo Central Station. The station was opened in 1904. It is a small unmanned station which is only served by local trains by NSB Gjøvikbanen. It is 4.45 km from Oslo S. 1400 meters from the railway station is the subway station with the same name, located on the T-bane. There is no connection between the two stations.
Romerike Tunnel
The Romerike Tunnel is a 14.580-kilometre railway tunnel in Norway that connects Oslo with Lillestrøm. Being the longest railway tunnel in Norway, the tunnel forms the first half of the Gardermoen Line. It is double track and electrified, permitting speeds of 210 kilometres per hour . Construction started in 1994, with plans to open along with the rest of the Gardermoen Line and the Oslo Airport, Gardermoen on 8 October 1998.
Jordal Amfi
Jordal Amfi is an indoor sporting arena located in Oslo, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 4,450 and was opened in 1952. It is the home arena of the Vålerenga ice hockey team.
Etterstad
Etterstad is a neighborhood in Oslo, located between the river Alna and Strømsveien, north of Vålerenga. It was incorporated into Oslo in 1946, two years before the merger of Oslo and Aker. The area is mainly residential.
Simensbråten
Simensbråten is a neighborhood in the borough of Nordstrand, Oslo, Norway. A mainly residental area, the suburb is located alongside a grove dividing Simensbråten from Brattlikollen. It was the location of the Oslo Tramway light rail station Simensbråten, the terminus of the Simensbråten Line which existed from 1931 to 1967. The area formerly served by Simensbråten station is currently served by Ryen T-bane station. In addition, Simensbråten is the terminus of bus line nr. 23.

Tøyenbadet
Tøyenbadet in Oslo is Norway's busiest indoor swimming facility. Situated in Helgesens Gate 90, it was designed by architect Gert Walter Thuesen. It was built in 1976 and contains indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It was closed for refurbishment in spring 2007 and reopened in autumn 2008, six months later than planned. Within months of this refurbishment the facility was experiencing water leakage problems.
Jordal
Jordal is a neighborhood in the borough of Gamle Oslo in Oslo, Norway. It is a small valley between Kampen and Vålerenga, and the farm Jordal was originally under Nedre Valle. The area was located in Aker until 1878, when it was incorporated into Kristiania (Oslo). It was known for the brickworks Jordal Teglverk, on the site now occupied by the Olympic ice hockey arena Jordal Amfi. The area is served by Ensjø station on the Oslo Metro.
Ekeberghallen
Ekeberghallen is an indoor sports arena located at Ekebergsletta in Nordstrand, Oslo, Norway. It was opened in 1973, and expanded in 1981 when adjacent office localities named Osloidrettens Hus were opened as well. It is mainly used by Bækkelagets SK and other sports clubs in the city, for indoor sports such as basketball, handball, volleyball, badminton, indoor athletics and futsal. Formerly it was used for rock concerts. It has also been used as a professional boxing venue.
Botsfengselet
Botsfengselet is a former national prison for long-term prisoners in Norway, located in Oslo. It was designed by architect Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and came into use from 1851. Its location is at the former Åkebergløkka, Grønlandsleiret 41. In 1970 Ullersmo Prison took over as a prison for long-term prisoners in Norway, while Botsfengselet was rehabilitated and served as a department of the district prison in Oslo from 1975. The prison is listed as a protected site.
Åkebergveien
Åkebergveien is a street in Oslo, Norway. The street is named after the former farm Åkeberg. Åkebergveien 11 formerly belonged to the brewery Ytteborgs Aktiebryggeri. In 1934 the building was acquired by the city of Oslo, and after rebuilding became part of the district prison of Oslo, currently department B of Oslo Prison. The prison is popularly called "Bayer'n", due to its history as a brewery.

Oslo Prison is the district prison of Oslo, Norway. It is the largest prison in Norway, with a capacity of around 350 detainees. The prison was called Oslo kretsfengsel until 2001. The prison has several departments. Department A is the former Botsfengselet, Grønlandsleiret 41, popularly called "Botsen". Department B is a former brewery located in Åkebergveien 11, popularly called "Bayer'n".
