University Botanical Garden (Oslo)
The University Botanical Garden at Tøyen in Oslo is Norway's oldest botanical garden, established in 1814. It is administrated by the University of Oslo. The University of Oslo's oldest building, the Tøyen Manor which was given as a gift in 1812, is located in the garden. The garden originally covered 75,000 square metres, but has since doubled in size. The collection includes roughly 35,000 plants of about 7500 unique species.
Grønland
Grønland is a neighbourhood in central Oslo, Norway. It is served by several tram and bus lines, as well as the Oslo Metro at the Grønland Station. Grønland is situated on the east side of Akerselva, five to ten minutes walking distance from Oslo Central Station and downtown Oslo. Grønland stretches from Grünerløkka down to the fjord by Middelalderparken shore area.
Grønland (station)
Grønland is a rapid transit station on the Oslo Metro in the Common Tunnel serving all six lines. It is located in the business and residential area Grønland, between the stations Jernbanetorget to the west and Tøyen to the east. The station was opened on 22 May 1966 with the opening of the subway, and underwent refurbishments 1988–92. Peer Qvam was the original architect. In terms of passenger volume, Grønland is one of the smaller stations in the Common Tunnel.
Tøyen (station)
Tøyen is a rapid transit station located in the Common Tunnel of Oslo Metro in Norway. Located in the borough of Gamle Oslo, it is also called "Tøyen-Munchmuseet" due to its proximity to the art museum. It is the last station on the east side shared by all lines; the Grorud Line and Ring Line departs from the other four lines at Tøyen. The station has three platforms, on the south side is a platform for all outbound trains.
Old Bishop's Palace in Oslo
The Old Bishop's Palace in Oslo was the residence of the Catholic bishops of Oslo. The palace was built like a fortified castle. The construction was begun around 1210 by the then bishop, Nikolas Arnesson, continuing through to the early 14th century. The palace built in stone replaced a previous bishop's residence built in wood, established in the 12th century. The palace is located in what is now called Gamlebyen (the old town) in Oslo.

Nybrua
Nybrua is a bridge over the Akerselva in Oslo. The bridge lies in the area of Grünerløkka and links the streets Storgata with Trondheimsveien and Thorvald Meyers gate. Nybrua was built in 1827. At the same time, Storgata was lengthened and the bottom part of Trondheimsveien was created. As Christiania's most important entrance point from the North, it became a part of Trondhjemske hovedvei. Later, Brugata, Vaterlands bru and Lakkegata were also added to the route, to the north of the city.

Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo
The Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo (Norwegian: Naturhistorisk museum, NHM) is Norway's oldest and largest museum of natural history, situated in Oslo. It traces its roots to the University Botanical Garden, which was founded near Tøyen Manor in 1814. Museums for zoology, botany and geology were added approximately a hundred years later, when the university campus in central Oslo had become too small for such purposes.
Apoteket Hjorten
Apoteket Hjorten was a pharmacy located at Grønland in Oslo, Norway. The name "Apoteket Hjorten" is used for a number of pharmacies in several Norwegian cities such as Fredrikstad and Trondheim. The pharmacy is now renamed to Vitusapotek Hjorten, and the modern building is located in Smalgangen 5. The pharmacy opened in 1857 after it was determined by a royal decree on December 4, 1856. Apoteket Hjorten was the fifth pharmacy in Christiania.
Asylet, Oslo
Asylet is the popular name of a building at Grønland 28 in Oslo, Norway. The building has also been called the "Communal Yard". Asylet was built as a merchant yard around 1730 (annex 1798) in notched timber, with half-timbered and modified facade. From 1839 to 1865, the house was "an asylum for children" (hence the name, which means asylum in English), and from 1868 to 1903 it housed a hospital. In the period 1903-1965, the building housed a nursing home.
Oslo Ladegård
Oslo Ladegård, also known as Ladegården or Old Bishop's Palace in Oslo, is a building in Gamlebyen in Oslo, Norway. The name comes from this area being used for unloading ships with supplies for Akershus fortress after the founding of Christiania. The word "lade" means to load in this context, so "Ladegård" means loading yard or wharf. The current building was erected in 1725 in baroque style. The hall in the cellar dates from the bishop's castle from the 13th century.

Botsfengselet
Botsfengselet is a former national prison for long-term prisoners in Norway, located in Oslo. It was designed by architect Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and came into use from 1851. Its location is at the former Åkebergløkka, Grønlandsleiret 41. In 1970 Ullersmo Prison took over as a prison for long-term prisoners in Norway, while Botsfengselet was rehabilitated and served as a department of the district prison in Oslo from 1975. The prison is listed as a protected site.
Åkebergveien
Åkebergveien is a street in Oslo, Norway. The street is named after the former farm Åkeberg. Åkebergveien 11 formerly belonged to the brewery Ytteborgs Aktiebryggeri. In 1934 the building was acquired by the city of Oslo, and after rebuilding became part of the district prison of Oslo, currently department B of Oslo Prison. The prison is popularly called "Bayer'n", due to its history as a brewery.

Grønland Church (Oslo)
Grønland Church is a church from 1868 located in Grønland, Oslo in the borough of Gamle Oslo, Norway. Church architect was Wilhelm von Hanno, that also designed the school, former fire station and former police station, together with the church is a unified group of buildings in Grønland, a district that recently (1859) had been incorporated into Christiania (the former name of the city of Oslo). Grønland Church was consecrated in 1868 and restored in 1988.

The cathedral was built at the height of the Old Town market square Oslo during the early 12th century, and was used as a church until about 1655.
Old Town, Oslo
The Old Town of Oslo is a neighborhood in the inner city of Oslo, Norway, belonging to the borough of Gamle Oslo and is the oldest urban areas within the current capital. Oslo's old town was established with the urban structure around year 1000 and was the capital of Norway's dominion in 1314. Old Town core area (i.e. the southern and the central part of Old Town) has several ruins of stone and brick lying ahead in the day, and large amounts of protected cultural underground.
