Hellerud
Hellerud was a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway up to January 1, 2004, when it became part of the new borough of Alna. It is also a traditional neighbourhood located within this area to the south of Tveita and Haugerud and north of Oppsal. It borders on the forest of Østmarka.
Bøler
Bøler is a south-eastern suburb of Oslo, Norway. It is one of the more picturesque areas of Oslo. Østmarka forest and lake Nøklevann in its immediately vicinity. Infrastructure-wise, it has a shopping center http://www. bolersenter. no/, two elementary schools, a public bath, a library, a church and a stop on the Østensjøbanen subway line.

Østensjøvannet
Østensjøvannet is a lake in Oslo, capital of Norway. It is well known for the wide variety of birds and other wildlife that can be found there. It is surrounded by the Østensjø borough. It is currently a wildlife preserve, though urban development posed a serious threat to the lake and its environs during the 1980s and early 1990s.
Tveita (station)
Tveita is a subway station on the Furuset Line of the Oslo Metro between Hellerud and Haugerud, located in the Alna borough of Oslo, Norway. The station is the first one on Furusetbanen that is not shared with another line. It was opened as part of the original line in 1970. Tveita is located underneath the shopping centre Tveita senter. The neighborhood of Tveita is a dense residential area with several large apartment buildings.
Haugerud (station)
Haugerud is the only outdoor station on the Furuset Line of the Oslo Metro. It is located in the Alna borough, between the stations of Tveita and Trosterud. Like the area around many of the other stations on Furusetbanen, the area around Haugerud is a dense residential neighborhood with a number of tall apartment buildings.
Hellerud (station)
Hellerud is a station on the Oslo Metro system which is shared by two lines, line 2 and line 3. These two lines diverge immediately east of the station with the eastbound Furuset Line track first diverging southwards before running under the Østensjø Line in order to avoid having the main tracks cross each other. The lines share the same track and platforms. The station is located in a mostly residential area, formerly called the Hellerud borough.
Trosterud (station)
Trosterud is a station on Furusetbanen (line 2) in the Alna borough between Haugerud and Lindeberg, 8.4 km from Stortinget. The station is located overground, but is inside the Trosterud shopping centre, and not an open air station. It is located in a largely residential area with several apartment buildings. The station was opened on 15 December 1974 and was the end station until 19 February 1978. Formerly, Trosterud was one of the more blighted and unattractive stations in the east.
Høyenhall (station)
Høyenhall is a rapid transit station on the Lambertseter Line of the Oslo Metro. Served by Line 4, it is the first station on the Lambertseter Line not shared with any other line. It is located between Brynseng and Manglerud, 5.2 kilometres away from Stortinget. The station was opened as a tram station in 1957, and as a metro station on 22 May 1966. The architects were Thorvald and Henning Astrup.
Bogerud (station)
Bogerud is a station on Østensjø Line (line 3) of the Oslo Metro. The station is located between Bøler and Skullerud, 10.2 kilometers from Stortinget. The station was opened 26 November 1967. Helge Abrahamsen was the station's architect. The Bogerud neighborhood is a residential area, developed mostly during the 1960s. Bogerud station was the scene of a murder in 2002.
Bøler (station)
Bøler is a station on Østensjø Line (Line 3) on Norway's Oslo Metro system between the stations of Ulsrud and Bogerud, 9.2 kilometers from Stortinget, in the area of the same name. The station opened as a subway station on 29 October 1967, but rail service to Bøler started already in 1958 as part of the city's tram network. The Bøler neighborhood is residential which was developed as a suburb during the late 1950s and 1960s. The old farm at Bøler lies next to the station and is preserved.

Godlia is a station on the Østensjø Line (Line 3) on the Oslo Metro. It is the first station after the line diverges from the Furuset Line and is located between the stations of Hellerud and Skøyenåsen, 6.1 kilometers from Stortinget. The station was opened as a subway station 29 October 1967. Karl Stenersen was the station's architect. Rail service through Godlia is older, having opened as a tram line already in 1926.
Alna Station
Alna railway station is a stop within Oslo, Norway on the Trunk Line which runs between Oslo Central Station and Lillestrøm. It is the second stop from Oslo S, between Bryn and Nyland, in Groruddalen, 6.87 km from Oslo S. On the east side of the station is the Alnabru train yard. Even though Hovedbanen is the oldest in Norway, the station was first opened in 1971. The station is unmanned.
Bryn Station
Bryn Station is a stop east of downtown Oslo, Norway on the Trunk Line. It was opened in 1858, four years after the line was opened. It is the first station to the east from Oslo S, the next station is Alna. It is 3.89 km from Oslo S, and at an altitude of 78.3 m. The railway runs beneath the east side of the Ring 3 highway at Bryn. Passenger service to Bryn consists of the local slow train between Asker and Lillestrøm Station (line 400). The train has two platforms.

Lutvann
Lutvann is a lake in the recreational area Østmarka in Oslo, Norway. It covers an area of 0.39 km², at 205 m elevation. Located just outiside the capital city, it is a popular site for recreation, including swimming and fishing during summer, with brook trout in the lake. In the winter there are ski trails along and on the lake. The lake is also used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for baptism.
Oppsal
Oppsal is a suburb in the borough of Østensjø in Oslo, Norway. The modern history of Oppsal starts with villas and summer homes built during the Interwar period. The Oslo Tramway was extended to Oppsal in 1926. Oppsal was developed as a planned suburb after World War II, and the first apartment block was built in 1954. The suburb got its own church in 1961, and a shopping mall opened in 1964. Oppsal borders on the forested areas of Østmarka.
Sarabråten
Sarabråten is an area near the lake Nøklevann in Østmarka, Oslo, Norway. Now a recreational area, it was owned by Thomas Johannessen Heftye and his descendants from 1856 to 1911, and after that by Oslo municipality. It was first recorded under the name Jørgensrud in 1578, when owned by the Diocese of Oslo. A ski jumping hill was located here earlier.
Abildsø skole
Abildsø skole is a Barne- og ungdomsskole in Oslo with 580 students in 2008. The school lies in Abildsø in Østensjøvannet, Østensjø. The school was founded in 1859 by Mina Vetlesen and celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2009.
Manglerudhallen
Manglerudhallen is an indoor ice hockey arena located in Manglerud, Oslo, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 2,000 and it was opened in 1979. It is the home arena of the Manglerud Star ice hockey team.
Alnabru Station
Alnabru Station is a former rail station on the Trunk Line in eastern Oslo, Norway. Alnabru was opened in 1902. The station had passengers, but was mainly concerned with goods. The Alnabru–Grefsen Line opened in 1901 and Loenga–Alnabru Line opened in 1907, and a large goods terminal was opened at the station. In 1971, the Alnabru–Grefsen Line was closed as a mainline station, the Trunk Line instead went around the area, and a new station, Alna, opened outside it.
Haugerud, Oslo
Haugerud is a neighborhood in the borough of Alna in Oslo, Norway. Its origin was a farm of the same name. It first had a private owner in 1670. Some of the land was parceled out in the early 1900s, and the rest of the land was bought by the municipality in 1947, and built up with apartment blocks in the late 1960s. Since 1970 it is served by the station Haugerud on the Oslo Metro. The local church opened in 1975, and the neighborhood also has a shopping mall.
Alnabru
Alnabru is a neighbourhood of Oslo. It is located in the middle of the southern part of Groruddalen. The name Alnabru comes from the area around Alnaelva and the old estate Alna Gård. This has also given its name to the borough (no. bydel) of Alna where the neighbourhood of Alnabru is located. The neighbourhood is an industrial area best known for its goods terminal.
