Torshov is an area in the borough Sagene in Oslo, Norway. Vogts gate serves as the neighborhood's main street. In the street there are trams between the city centre and Kjelsås. Nydalen is a rapid transit station on the Ring Line of the Oslo Metro. It is located at Nydalen in the Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 20 August 2003, as part of the first section of the Ring Line to Storo. The station is served by lines 4, 5 and 6 of the metro, as well as several local bus services. Artistic effort was put into the construction of the station, and the escalators were built into the Tunnel of Light exhibition.

Nydalen Station is a railway station on the Gjøvik Line in Oslo, Norway. The station was built opened in 1946, and is located between Grefsen and Kjelsås. Like most of the local Oslo stations on the Gjøvik Line, Nydalen is a small station. It is unmanned, has only a single wooden platform, and is served only by commuter trains. Close by, but not in connection, is the a subway station with the same name, Nydalen. The station is located in Nordre Aker borough.

Berg (station)

Berg is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Norway. Located between Ullevål stadion and Tåsen stations, it is the first station after the Ring Line leaves the Sognsvann Line. The station is located 6.1 kilometres from Stortinget station. Berg is amongst the original stations on the line, and was opened on 10 October 1934. It was upgraded and rebuilt in the 1990s, when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded from light rail to rapid transit standard.

Tåsen (station)

Tåsen is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Oslo, Norway. The station is located between Berg and Østhorn stations and is 6.8 kilometres from Stortinget. As one of the original stations on the line, Tåsen was opened on 10 October 1934. The station was moved 150 metres north in the 1990s, when the line was upgraded from light rail to rapid transit standard. In 1992, a deadly accident occurred when a T1300 train collided with a plowing car ahead of the station.

Østhorn (station)

Østhorn (until 1939 Korsvoll) is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Norway. It is located 7.1 kilometres from Stortinget station between Tåsen and Holstein stations. As one of the original stations on the line, Østhorn was opened on 10 October 1934. Nordberg was formerly the next northbound station, but it was closed in 1992, when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded to metro standard.

Korsvollbanen

Korsvollbanen is the home ground of the Norwegian sports club Korsvoll IL. The club is in the residential neighborhood of Korsvoll in Nordre Aker, Oslo. The stadium capacity is 2000. The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the 55th annual Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast from the Telenor Arena in Bærum, Greater Oslo, Norway. It was the third time Norway had hosted the contest, having previously done so in 1986 and 1996. The 2010 winner was Germany with Lena singing "Satellite", written by American Julie Frost and Denmark's John Gordon. It was Germany's first win in twenty-eight years, its second since the Contest's inception, and its first win as a unified country.

Åsen is a neighborhood in the borough of Sagene in Oslo, Norway. Part of the borough is in Nordre Aker. The neighbourhood is named after the old farm Åsen (Norse Ósin, from originally *Ásvin). The first element is áss m 'mountain ridge' (here referring to Grefsenåsen), the last element is vin f 'meadow'. The name is often misunderstood as åsen, the finite form of ås (the modern Norwegian form of áss), and is then wrongly pronounced with accent 1 - but the correct pronunciation is with accent 2.

Sagene Church

Sagene Church is located in Oslo, Norway. The church was built in gothic revival style and it was consecrated in 1891. It was designed by architect Christian Fürst in neo-Gothic style. There are 600 seats. Fountain and landscaping around the church were conducted from 1891 to 1895, and upgraded from 1923. The altarpiece was executed by the painter Christen Brun (1828-1905) and shows the removal of Jesus from the cross. The pulpit is octagonal, made of pine and is from 1890.
