Majorstuen
Majorstuen or Majorstua is an affluent neighbourhood in the Frogner borough in the western part of Oslo, Norway. Majorstuen is known for its vibrant downtown, especially its shopping area. The area has several elegant townhouses circa 1880-1890. The area is also an important public transport junction in Oslo, where all metro lines, three tram lines and five bus lines operate. It is served by Majorstuen station.

Norwegian company Chipcon AS, headquartered in Oslo and a wholly owned subsidiary of Texas Instruments since 24 January 2006—and from then on known as Texas Instruments Norway AS—develops electronic chips for short-range RF (radio) communications. Majorstuen (station)
Majorstuen is a subway station on the Oslo Metro and a light rail station on the Briskeby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in the Majorstuen neighborhood in the Frogner borough. Majorstuen is shared by all the subway lines, and, being located just after the tunnel entrance, it is the only such station not located underground. Majorstuen was originally the end station for Holmenkollbanen, and remained so until the tunnel to Nationaltheatret Station was completed.
Frøen (station)
Frøen is a station on the Oslo Metro in the Vestre Aker borough, it is the first station on the Holmenkollen Line after Majorstuen. The name refers to Frøen Gård, a stately estate located near the present location of the t-bane station, of which now only the manor house remains. Previously, trains switched from third rail which was used on most of the network (now all), to overhead wire which was used on Holmenkollbanen, at Frøen.
Forskningsparken (station)
Forskningsparken is a rapid transit station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro. It also serves as a light rail station for the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at the north of the Blindern campus of the University of Oslo in the Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. The decision to build the station was made in 1998, and it opened in 1999, replacing the former station Vestgrensa, and allowed interchange between the metro and the tramway.

Blindern is a rapid transit station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro. It is located in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. Served by lines 3, 4 and 6, the station is located adjacent to the main campus of the University of Oslo, Blindern. Until 1999, the station served as terminus of line 5, that ran along the Grorud Line. The station was opened in 1934, and was originally named Blindernveien.

Valkyrie plass
Valkyrie plass is a square in Oslo, Norway, located one block southeast of Majorstuen. The square is triangular in shape, and boundaried by the streets Valkyriegata, Bogstadveien and Jacob Aall's gate. It is named after Norse female warrior deities called the valkyries. The Common Tunnel of the Oslo T-bane system passes beneath Valkyrie plass, and there was a station beneath the square from 1912 to 1985.
University Library of Oslo
The University Library of Oslo (Norwegian: Universitetsbiblioteket i Oslo, UBO) is a library connected to the University of Oslo. Like the University, it was established in 1811 with Georg Sverdrup as the first head librarian. It originally doubled as the Norwegian national library, and was located at the old University of Oslo campus. In 1913 the current library building in Henrik Ibsens gate was completed. Head librarian at the time, from 1876 to 1922, was Axel Drolsum.
Vestgrensa (station)
Vestgrensa (originally Ullevål Haveby) was a light rail station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro in Norway. It opened on 10 October 1934, and was located between Blindern and Ullevål stadion stations. The station was rebuilt when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded from light rail to metro standard in the early 1990s. It was closed on 22 August 1999, when it was replaced by the new station Forskningsparken.
Rikshospitalet (station)
Rikshospitalet is a light rail tram station at the end of the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at Rikshospitalet, the Norwegian National Hospital, at Gaustad in Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 1 June 1999 as part of the line extension when the hospital opened. The expansion was financed by Oslo Package 2. The station is served by lines 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams. This allow step-free access from and to all stations until the city center.
Gaustad
Gaustad is a neighborhood in Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located between Vinderen and Kringsjå. At Gaustad are Rikshospitalet and Gaustad Hospital, as well as residential areas that border to Nordmarka. Tha area is served by Rikshospitalet Station on the Ullevål Hageby Line of Oslo Tramway, and Gaustad Station on the Holmenkoll Line of Oslo T-bane. Ring 3 runs through the neightborhood.

Statoil Fuel & Retail is a Norwegian energy retail company, formed by the 2010 separation of the downstream business of Statoil ASA into a separate listed company. The company has 2,300 fuel retail stations in Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic Countries and Russia as well as significant lubricants and aviation fuel operations. It was listed as a separate company on the Oslo Stock Exchange on October 22, 2010.

Bogstadveien
Bogstadveien is a street in the district of Frogner in Oslo, Norway. Bogstadveien features many of the city's wide range of exclusive shops as well as entertainment, hotels and restaurants. The road is also known for the two annual car-free shopping events called the Bilfri Bogstadvei. Bogstadveien stretches from the neighbourhood of Majorstuen to the neighbourhood of Hegdehaugen.
