Sogn, Oslo
Sogn was a district of the city of Oslo, Norway up to January 1, 2004, when it became part of the Nordre Aker district.
Ullevaal Stadion
Ullevaal Stadion is an all-seater football stadium located in Oslo, Norway. It is the home ground of Vålerenga IF and the Norway national football team, and the site of the Norwegian Cup Final. From its opening in 1926 to 2009 it was the home ground of FK Lyn. With a capacity of 25,572, it is the largest football stadium in Norway. The national stadium is fully owned by the Football Association of Norway (NFF).

Greater Oslo Region is a statistical metropolitan region surrounding the Norwegian capital of Oslo. The region includes the city of Oslo, the entire county of Akershus and several municipalities in the counties of Buskerud (150,709), Oppland (8,552), Vestfold (27,695) and Østfold (102,808). It is divided into five areas: the city of Oslo (590,041), the Inner Circle of Greater Oslo (309,717), the Outer Circle of Greater Oslo (313,258), Drammen Region (150,655) and Moss Region (54,920).
Berg Upper Secondary School
Berg Upper Secondary School, known in Norwegian as Berg videregående skole is an upper secondary school located in Oslo, Norway. The school was established in 1925 and provides education leading to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma as well as the college preparatory "studiespesialisering" of the Norwegian school system. It currently has around 465 students - 108 graduating in the Norwegian system and 55 graduating with IB Diplomas each year.
Ullevål stadion (station)
Ullevål stadion is a rapid transit station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro. It is the last station served by lines 3, 4 and 5. North of the station, the Ring Line branches off from the Sognsvann Line. The station serves the residential area of Ullevål, in addition to the football venue Ullevaal Stadion, the home pitch for Premier League sides Vålerenga and the Norway national football team.
Sognsvann
Sognsvann (or Sognsvannet) is a 3.3km circumference lake just north of Oslo, Norway. Lying just within the greenbelt around Oslo, the lake is a popular recreational area, used as a camping, picnicking and bathing destination for the residents of Oslo during the summer, as well as a cross-country skiing, skating and ice fishing destination in the winter. The trail around it is used for walking or jogging all year.
Sognsvann (station)
Sognsvann station is the last stop on Sognsvann Line, the western side of line 6 on the Oslo T-bane. The station is located south of the lake Sognsvann. Next to the station on the west side is the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, while on the east side are the Norwegian National Archives. The station was opened along with the Sognsvann Line on 10 October 1934. Along the line, it lies 8.7 km from Stortinget and at an altitude of 198.1 metres.
Kringsjå (station)
Kringsjå is the second last station on Sognsvannsbanen (line 6) on the Oslo T-bane system. It lies between Holstein and Sognsvann and is 8.4 km from Stortinget. The station was opened on 10 October 1934. To the west of the station are large student dormitories, in particular Kringsjå Studentby and Fjellbirkeland Studentby.
Berg (station)
Berg is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Norway. Located between Ullevål stadion and Tåsen stations, it is the first station after the Ring Line leaves the Sognsvann Line. The station is located 6.1 kilometres from Stortinget station. Berg is amongst the original stations on the line, and was opened on 10 October 1934. It was upgraded and rebuilt in the 1990s, when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded from light rail to rapid transit standard.
Tåsen (station)
Tåsen is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Oslo, Norway. The station is located between Berg and Østhorn stations and is 6.8 kilometres from Stortinget. As one of the original stations on the line, Tåsen was opened on 10 October 1934. The station was moved 150 metres north in the 1990s, when the line was upgraded from light rail to rapid transit standard. In 1992, a deadly accident occurred when a T1300 train collided with a plowing car ahead of the station.
Østhorn (station)
Østhorn (until 1939 Korsvoll) is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Norway. It is located 7.1 kilometres from Stortinget station between Tåsen and Holstein stations. As one of the original stations on the line, Østhorn was opened on 10 October 1934. Nordberg was formerly the next northbound station, but it was closed in 1992, when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded to metro standard.
Holstein (station)
Holstein is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 6) of the Oslo Metro in Norway. The station is located between Kringsjå and Østhorn stations. Holstein was opened during the Second World War, in 1941. Formerly Nordberg was the next southbound station, but it was closed in 1992, at the same time as Holstein was re-built with longer platforms and new ticket machines. The name Holstein is believed to origin from Schleswig-Holstein in Germany.
Sogn Studentby
Sogn Studentby (engl. Sogn Student Village) is a residential area for students located in the north of Oslo. The buildings are managed and maintained by the student welfare organization Foundation for Student Life in Oslo. Sogn Studentby consists mostly of about 1288 single rooms. It is one of the cheapest housing areas for students in Oslo. More than one third of the students living at Sogn are from abroad.
Nordberg
Nordberg is a neighbourhood in Nordre Aker in Oslo, the capital of Norway. From 1934 to 1992 it was served by Nordberg Station on the Sognsvann Line, but is now served by Østhorn and Holstein on the same line.
Korsvoll
Korsvoll is an area in the borough Nordre Aker in Oslo, Norway. The area is located between the areas Brekke and Nordberg, northwest of the old industrial area Nydalen. The area borders on the forest area Nordmarka, and is a popular residential area for families. The local sports club is Korsvoll IL.

Nordberg (station)
Nordberg was a station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro in Oslo, Norway. It was opened on 10 October 1934, and was located between Østhorn and Holstein stations, in a level crossing with the steep road Borgestadveien. The station saw several accidents, and was closed on 5 May 1992 when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded to rapid transit standard. An underpass was constructed to allow pedestrians pass under the tracks.
Ullevål Hageby
Ullevål Hageby is a residential area and garden city in borough Nordre Aker of Oslo, Norway. All housing in the area is part of the housing cooperative Oslo Havebyselskap. The area borders on Ullevål University Hospital to the east, Blindern in the west, and Berg to the north.
Gaustad Hospital
Gaustad Hospital is a psychiatric hospital located at Gaustad in Oslo, Norway. Founded in 1855, it is part of Aker University Hospital. Since 1 January 2009, Aker University Hospital has been part of Oslo University Hospital, a subsidiary of the Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority.
National Archival Services of Norway
The National Archival Services of Norway is a Norwegian government agency that is responsible for keeping state archives, conducts control of public archiving and works to preserve private archives. It is subordinate to the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs and consists of the National Archive (Riksarkivet), eight regional state archives (statsarkiv) and the Sami Archive (Samisk arkiv). The organization has 190 employees and about 120 kilometers of materials.
2010 Norwegian Football Cup
The Norwegian Football Cup 2010 was the 105th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The competition started with two qualifying rounds on 11 April and 21 April, and the final was held on 14 November at Ullevaal Stadium. The defending champions were Aalesund. The winners of the Cup, Strømsgodset, can call themselves Champions of Norway and qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League.

Tåsen is a neighborhood of Oslo, Norway, approx. four 4 kilometres north of the city centre. The name origins from the norse name Tásvin. The station Tåsen serves the area.
Berg, Oslo
Berg is a neighbourhood in the North End of Oslo. It is located in the bourough Nordre Aker, and is surrounded by the neighbourhoods Nordberg in the north, Tåsen in the east and Ullevål Hageby in the southwest. Berg is named after an abandoded farm with the same name. Berg is mainly a residential area, and is served by the station Berg on the Sognsvann Line.
National Archives of Norway
The National Archives of Norway (Riksarkivet) is the institution responsible for preserving archive material from Norwegian state institutions, as well as contributing to the preservation of private archives. It does this work in cooperation with the regional state archives, together with which it forms the National Archival Services of Norway (Arkivverket). The National Archives was founded in 1817. Henrik Wergeland was appointed as the first national archivist in 1841.
