Orewa
Orewa, a town in New Zealand's North Island, lies on the Hibiscus Coast, just north of the base of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula and 40 kilometres north of central Auckland. Orewa's population was 7,326 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 1,692 from 2001. It is a popular holiday destination. Orewa is also considered one of the fastest growing places in New Zealand and is one of the most expensive areas in which to buy a house.
Hibiscus Coast
The Hibiscus Coast is a stretch of the Hauraki Gulf coast located in New Zealand's Auckland Region. It contains the northernmost part of the Auckland metropolitan area (as defined by Statistics New Zealand). The Hibiscus Coast runs north from the Whangaparaoa Peninsula through Orewa to Waiwera.

Orewa College is a Year 7 to 13 college/high school in Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast, north of Auckland, New Zealand. The 2013 roll is 2034. The school has strong music, media, drama and sport departments with a prosperous international programme. Waiwera
Waiwera is a locality situated in the north of the Auckland Region in New Zealand. The name is of Māori origin and means "Hot Water" (Wai = Water and Wera = Hot). Its main claim to fame are the hot water springs which were well known in pre-European times and reputedly visited by Māori from as far away as Thames. The first European settler to promote the springs was Robert Graham who established a health resort in 1848.
Waiwera Hot Pools
Waiwera Hot Pools (now branded as Waiwera Infinity Thermal Spa Resort) is a large thermal spa situated in Waiwera, just north of Auckland, New Zealand. The park is New Zealand's largest water park. The complex claims 350,000 visitors per year and consists of 26 pools plus various slides.
Orewa River
The Orewa River is a river of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows east to reach Whangaparaoa Bay just to the north of Whangaparaoa Peninsula. The town of Orewa is located close to the river's mouth.
Alice Eaves Scenic Reserve
Alice Eaves Scenic Reserve, known colloquially as "Eaves Bush", is 16ha forest located at the northern end of Orewa. It is named after Mrs Alice Caroline Eaves (d. 1955), whose family bequeathed the land to the nation in 1960.
