Dippach
Dippach is a commune and small town in south-western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Capellen, which is part of the district of Luxembourg. The commune's administrative centre is Schouweiler. The River Mess, a tributary of the Alzette, rises here. As of 2005, the town of Dippach, which lies in the north-east of the commune, has a population of 790. Other towns within the commune include Bettange-sur-Mess, Schouweiler, and Sprinkange.

Bettange-sur-Mess (Luxembourgish: Betten op der Mess) is a small village in the commune of Dippach, in south-western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 974. It is situated on the Mess River, from which its suffix is derived.

Holzem is a small town in the commune of Mamer, in southwestern Luxembourg. As of 2006, it has a population of 581 of which 406 are Luxembourgers. Holzem still has a distinctly rural atmosphere but in recent years a number of small companies have been established there.

Bettange-sur-Mess Castle
Bettange-sur-Mess Castle (French: Château de Bettange-sur-Mess) is located in the village of Bettange-sur-Mess near Dippach in the southwest of Luxembourg. Built in 1753 by René Louis de Geisen, the castle has changed ownership several times. Since 1996, it has been a retraining centre for mentally handicapped persons run by the Association des Parents d’Enfants Mentalement Handicapés.
