Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica on the west side of Chicago, Illinois. Located at 3121 West Jackson Boulevard, it is, along with St. Hyacinth and Queen of All Saints, one of only three churches in Illinois designated by the Pope with the title of basilica.

California was closed on February 9, 1992, as part of a series of budget cuts, but later reopened with the completion of the Green Line rehabilitation. The station is situated near the intersection of California Avenue and Lake Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. It is wheel-chair accessible.
Kedzie (CTA Green Line station)
Kedzie is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Green Line. It opened in March 1894, and is three blocks south of Metra's Kedzie station on the Union Pacific/West Line. It is also near the Chicago Center for Green Technology.
Conservatory–Central Park Drive (CTA station)
Conservatory–Central Park Drive is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Green Line. It opened on June 30, 2001. It is named for the Garfield Park Conservatory just outside the station. Conservatory–Central Park Drive station replaced the former Homan Avenue Station on the Lake Street Elevated two blocks to its east. During construction of the station the Homan historic station house was moved to its current location.

Kedzie–Homan (CTA station)
Kedzie–Homan is a station on the 'L' system, serving the Blue Line's Forest Park branch. The station is located in the median of the Eisenhower Expressway within the East Garfield Park neighborhood and has two entrances on the Kedzie and Homan Avenue overpasses. Kedzie–Homan was named Kedzie until the early 1990s, when the name was changed to Kedzie–Homan. However, signs on the platform still refer to the station as Kedzie.
Pulaski (CTA Blue Line station)
Pulaski is a station on the 'L' system, serving the Blue Line's Forest Park branch. The station is located in the median of the Eisenhower Expressway within the West Garfield Park neighborhood. A long ramp connects the platform to the station house on the Pulaski Road overpass. There was originally a similar entrance from the Keeler Avenue overpass; the entrance from Keeler was closed to cut costs on January 15, 1973, but retained as an exit, and the exit was fully closed on December 28, 1978.

Pulaski is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Pink Line. Pulaski opened on June 16, 1902, as part of the Douglas Park branch of the Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railroad. It served as the terminus of that line until its 1907 extension to 48th Avenue.
Kostner (CTA Pink Line station)
Kostner is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Pink Line. Kostner station was originally opened as Kildare Station. During reconstruction in 2003, the station was renamed Kostner because the primary entrance was moved one block west to Kostner Avenue and the Kildare entrance became an auxiliary entrance. Kostner has the lowest ridership of any station on the L, serving only 500 people on an average weekday.

WRTE is a radio station broadcasting a Public media format. Licensed to Chicago, Illinois, USA, the station serves the city of Chicago. The station is owned by Chicago Public Media and was owned by National Museum of Mexican Art. WRTE originally signed on as WCYC with licensee, Boys and girls Club of Chicago on 90.5FM. The Boys (and girls) Club sold the radio station to the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum (Now National Museum Of Mexican Art) in 1997, renaming the station WRTE.
Hawthorne Works
The Hawthorne Works, in Cicero, Illinois, was a large factory complex built by Western Electric starting in 1905 and operating until 1983. It had 45,000 employees at the height of its operations. Besides telephone equipment, the factory produced a wide variety of consumer products, including refrigerators and electric fans. Hawthorne Works was named for Hawthorne, Illinois, a small town that was later incorporated into Cicero.
Douglas Park (Chicago)
Douglas Park is a large Chicago Park District park that also serves as a cultural and community center in Chicago, Illinois. It is named after the U.S. Senator Stephen A. Douglas, who died in 1861. Originally named South Park, its 173 acres are in the North Lawndale community area of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, United States with an official address of 1401 S. Sacramento Drive.

Waller Apartments
The Edward C. Waller Apartments are located from 2840 to 2858 W. Walnut Street in Chicago, Illinois. They were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1895. Some of the oldest buildings to be used for subsidized housing in Chicago, they received Chicago Landmark status on March 2, 1994.

The jail has held several infamous criminals including Al Capone, Tony Accardo, Frank Nitti, Larry Hoover, Jeff Fort, Richard Speck, and John Wayne Gacy.

Kostner is an abandoned rapid transit station in the West Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The station served the Chicago Transit Authority's Congress Line, which is now part of the Blue Line. Kostner was opened on August 5, 1962; it was the only station on the Congress Line which was not opened with the line on June 22, 1958. The station closed on September 2, 1973, due to low ridership.

Homan was situated east of Pulaski and west of Kedzie. Homan opened in March, 1894 and closed on January 9, 1994 when the Green Line closed for renovations. The station did not reopen with the rest of the Green Line on May 12, 1996.
