KHJ (AM)
KHJ Radio in Los Angeles, California broadcasts Spanish-language entertainment programming as La Ranchera. It was also one of America's most formidable Top 40 radio stations in the 1960s and 1970s as 93 KHJ before changing its format in 1980. KHJ is now triplexed to three of the six towers of KBLA 1580 kHz located near Sunset and Alvarado, Los Angeles. Radio station KYPA 1230 also utilizes two of the six KBLA towers for it's signal.

KABC (AM)
KABC is a Los Angeles radio station, and a West Coast flagship station for the Cumulus Media company. A pioneer of the talk radio format, the station went "all-talk" in September 1960, the second radio station to do so, a few months after St. Louis' KMOX. KABC is owned by Cumulus Media, but despite different owners, 790 KABC, KABC-TV and 710 ESPN maintains a strong partnership (as KABC-TV is the local ABC owned-and-operated station). KABC first went on the air on April 14, 1925 as KVFV.
3rd Street, Los Angeles
3rd Street in Los Angeles is a major east-west thoroughfare. The west end is in downtown Beverly Hills by Santa Monica Boulevard, and the east is at Alameda Street in Downtown Los Angeles, where it shares a one-way couplet with 4th Street. East of Alameda it becomes 4th Street, where it heads to East Los Angeles, where it turns back into 3rd Street upon crossing Indiana Street. 3rd Street eventually becomes Pomona Boulevard in Monterey Park, where it finally ends at the Pomona Freeway.
RKO Forty Acres
Forty Acres was a film studio backlot that belonged to RKO Pictures and later Desilu Productions, located in Culver City, California. Best known as Forty Acres, or "the back forty", it had other names such as "Desilu Culver", the "RKO backlot" and "Pathé 40 Acre Ranch" depending on which studio owned the property at the time.
Helms Bakery
The Helms Bakery in Culver City, California was a notable industrial bakery of Southern California that operated from 1931 to 1969. In 1926, Paul Helms of New York took an early retirement for health reasons and moved his family to Southern California and its mild climate. Helms started construction on a building between Washington and Venice Boulevards in 1930 and, on March 2, 1931, the Helms Bakery opened with 32 employees and 11 delivery coaches (trucks).
West Los Angeles Transit Center
The West Los Angeles Transit Center is a terminal located immediately underneath Interstate Highway 10 on Washington Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. Many bus routes run by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Culver City Transit begin and terminate at this terminal. Buses traveling on La Cienega Boulevard, Fairfax Avenue, I-10, Adams Boulevard, Jefferson Boulevard, and to/from Downtown Los Angeles all enter/leave the West LA Transit Center.
Blair Hills, Culver City, California
Blair Hills is a small hilly neighborhood of Culver City, California estimated at 0.559 square miles with a population density of 2956 people per sq. mile. The Blair Hills neighborhood is roughly bounded by La Cienega Boulevard on the east, oil wells on the south, Baldwin Hills Scenic State Park on the west and Jefferson Boulevard and Rodeo Road to the north. In the 1950s a property developer by the name of Stone & Stone began building homes in an area now called Blair Hills.
