The center is regarded as a public asset according to the Thai Ministry of Finance’s Treasury Department. However, it has been managed by N.C.C. Management & Development Co. , Ltd. , a private firm, since it’s opening in 1991.

The Emporium is a luxury shopping mall in Khlong Toei district, Bangkok, Thailand, which opened in 1997. It is owned and operated by The Mall Group and another huge mall, Siam Paragon. It is located on Sukhumvit Road at Sukhumvit Soi 24 beside Queen's Park and connected directly to the Phrom Phong Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain by a footbridge. It is owned by the same company as Siam Paragon and its direct competitor is Central Group.

Science Center for Education
The Science Center for Education is a science museum in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located next to the Eastern Bus Terminal on Sukhumwit Road, and is a science exhibition centre. The museum has an aquarium, a computer world, a planetarium, and work shops/devices intended for children.
Benjasiri Park
Benjasiri Park is a garden on Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Toei district, Bangkok, Thailand. Built on 11.6 acres next door to the Emporium shopping complex, it commemorates the 60th birthday of Queen Sirikit on August 12, 1992. Construction began in 1990 on land which originally housed the Bangkok Meteorological Department until its relocation to Bang Na. Built around an ornamental lake, it contains 12 pieces of contemporary sculpture by Thai artists and is often used for open air events.
Bangkok Planetarium
The Bangkok Planetarium is the oldest planetarium in Thailand. It is located on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok as part of the Science Center for Education, which is operated by the Department of Non-Formal Education of the Ministry of Education. Construction of the planetarium began in 1962 with a budget of twelve million baht and the planetarium opened on 18 August 1964. The planetarium dome is 20.60 metres in diameter and 13 metres high, and holds 450 seats.
Washington Square (Bangkok)
Washington Square is an entertainment area in Bangkok, Thailand, located at Sukhumvit Soi 22, near the Phrom Phong skytrain station. It contains bars, restaurants, massage parlors and a katoey theatre. The area is mainly popular with retired western expatriates. Bourbon Street serves Cajun and Creole food and was written up by the Bangkok Post in 2005. The area appears in Christopher G. Moore's series of crime novels about private eye Vincent Calvino. The area is now partially demolished.
