Knox County, Tennessee
Knox County is a county in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2010 census, the population is 432,226. Its county seat and largest city is Knoxville. The county is at the geographical center of the Great Valley of East Tennessee. Near the heart of the county is the origin of the Tennessee River at the union of the Holston and French Broad Rivers. The county is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Knoxville
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Knoxville is a Roman Catholic diocese in Tennessee. It was founded on May 27, 1988 from the eastern counties of the Diocese of Nashville. This diocese covers most of East Tennessee; in addition to the see city of Knoxville, it includes Chattanooga and Johnson City. The Mother Church is Sacred Heart Cathedral, located on Northshore Drive in Knoxville.
Sharp's Ridge
Sharp's Ridge is a steep limestone ridge in Knoxville, Tennessee, north of the city's downtown. A 111-acre area of the 7-mile ridge is maintained as Sharp's Ridge Memorial Park, a city park dedicated to the honor of the area's war dead. The ridge also is the site of a transmitting antenna farm that serves most of Knoxville's broadcasters. The highest ground point on the ridge is an abandoned fire tower located at 1,391 feet (424 m) above mean sea level.
Bleak House (Knoxville, Tennessee)
Bleak House is an antebellum Classical Revival style house in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was first occupied by Robert Houston Armstrong and his wife, Louisa Franklin. It was built for the couple as a wedding gift by the bride's father, Major L.D. Franklin. Robert Armstrong's father, Drury Armstrong, gave them the land. The Armstrongs named the house after Charles Dickens' "Bleak House" novel of the same name.
Crescent Bend
Crescent Bend is a historic home at 2728 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee. The building is known as Crescent Bend because of its location on a bend of the Tennessee River. It is also known as the Armstrong-Lockett House, Longview and Logueval. Crescent Bend was built in 1834 by Drury Paine Armstrong (1799-1856), a farmer, merchant and public official who estimated that the house had cost him $5,517. The house was once the centerpiece of a 600-acre farm.

WITA
WITA (1490 AM, "Inspiration 1490") is a Christian radio station located in Knoxville, Tennessee. It broadcasts a Christian format with some conservative talk shows and news from the USA Radio Network. The call letters stand for "Witnessing In Tennessee Airwaves". In the late 1960s into the mid-1970s WITA was known as WROL, "Real Rock And Roll Radio. " It was the only station in Knoxville playing album cuts from artists such as the Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin and the Grateful Dead.
WKGN
WKGN is an AM radio station licensed to Knoxville, Tennessee. It first signed on the air in 1946. It currently has a Spanish format. WKGN has switched formats many times throughout its existence. Previous formats include, but are not limited to: Top 40 from the early 1960s thru 1976, album-oriented rock from 1976-1978, an all-disco format in 1978-1979, switching back to Top 40 in the summer of 1979, then adult contemporary in 1980, and a news-talk format from 1981 through 1985.

Fulton also invented an automatic river gauge while working for the U.S. Weather Bureau, and played a primary role in the development of the depth charge during World War I.
