Milford is a census-designated place (CDP) consisting of the main area of settlement within the town of Milford in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,233 at the 2010 census.
Alfond Arena
Alfond Arena is a 5,124-seat multi-purpose arena in Orono, Maine, USA. The arena opened in 1977. It is home to the University of Maine Black Bears ice hockey and basketball teams. It is recognizable for its distinctive hyperbolic parabloid architecture. The multi-angular roof design can also be found at Pavilion at Villanova University, the Brown University Smith Swim Center and the Flynn Recreation Complex at Boston College.
WMEB-FM
WMEB-FM is a non-commercial American radio station owned and operated by the University of Maine. WMEB became an official radio station in January 1964 when the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensed the station to operate on the frequency of 91.9 mHz FM, and its callsign became WMEB-FM. Alfond Stadium (University of Maine)
Morse Field at Harold Alfond Sports Stadium is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Orono, Maine. It opened in 1998. It is home to the University of Maine Black Bears football team. It replaced Alumni Stadium which was condemned in 1996 after failing inspection. A temporary stadium on site was erected for the 1996 and 1997 seasons in which the east grandstand was constructed. The stadium is named for Harold Alfond, a longtime Maine booster.

Marsh Island is an island on the Penobscot River in Penobscot County. The Penobscot River borders the eastern side of the island, while the Stillwater River, a side arm of the Penobscot, borders the western side of the island. The towns of Old Town and Orono occupy portions of Marsh Island.
