Hollywood and Vine
Hollywood and Vine, the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, became famous in the 1920s for its concentration of radio and movie-related businesses. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is centered on the intersection. Today, not many production facilities are located in the immediate area. One of the few remaining is the Capitol Records Tower to the north of the intersection.

Gower Gulch
Gower Gulch is a nickname for the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street in Hollywood, California. Since the days of silent film, the surrounding area had contained several movie studios, including the Christie Studios (on the north-west corner) during the 1920s, then later, Columbia and Republic Studios to the south along Gower Street.
Cathay de Grande
The Cathay de Grande was a nightclub on the corner of Argyle Street and Selma Avenue in central Hollywood, USA, which featured mostly punk rock bands but also other styles of underground/alternative rock in the 1980s. It was almost as well known for rockabilly, cowpunk, the Paisley Underground bands and the beginning of the garage rock revival. It was owned by Michael Brennan. Top Jimmy & The Rhythm Pigs played every Monday night for three years. Violent Psychosis joined every Thursday.
Raji's
Raji's was a rock and roll nightclub in central Hollywood, open in the 1980s and early 1990s. It was located in the Hastings Hotel building. The space had previously been a Greek restaurant called The King's Palace. It was one of the great sweaty, smoke-filled 'dives' of rock.

The Hollywood Palladium is a theater located at 6215 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. It was built in a Streamline Moderne, Art Deco style and includes an 11,200 square foot (1040 m²) dance floor with room for up to 4,000 people.

Yucca Corridor, Los Angeles
The Yucca Corridor is a small, diverse, and densely populated neighborhood of Hollywood centered along most of the length of Yucca Street. The neighborhood lies north of Hollywood Boulevard and south of Franklin Avenue between Highland Avenue and Vine Street. It is about a half-mile long and a quarter-mile wide. The Yucca Corridor lies along the north side of the busiest part of Hollywood Boulevard.
Vine Street
Vine Street is a street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California that runs north-south from Melrose Avenue up past Hollywood Boulevard. The intersection of Hollywood and Vine was once a symbol of Hollywood itself. The famed intersection fell into disrepair during the 1970s but has since begun gentrification and renewal with several high valued projects currently in progress.
Knickerbocker Hotel (Los Angeles)
The Hollywood Knickerbocker Apartments, formerly the Knickerbocker Hotel, is a senior home located at 1714 Ivar Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Built in 1925 by E.M. Frasier in Spanish Colonial Revival style, the historic hotel catered to the region's nascent film industry, and is the site for some of Hollywood’s most famous dramatic moments. Rudolf Valentino was a regular at the bar before his death in 1926.
Pantages Theatre (Hollywood)
The Pantages Theatre, formerly known as RKO Pantages Theatre, is located at Hollywood and Vine, in Hollywood. Designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca, it was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. The palatial Art Deco theater opened on June 4, 1930, as part of the Pantages Theatre Circuit.

It has previously been known as The Hollywood Playhouse, The WPA Federal Theatre, El Capitan Theatre, The Jerry Lewis Theatre, The Hollywood Palace and The Palace. It has a capacity of 2,000.
Sunset Gower Studios
Sunset Gower Studios is a 14-acre television and movie studio at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street in Hollywood, California. Established in 1912, it continues today as Hollywood's largest independent studio and an active facility for television and film production on its twelve soundstages.

Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study
The Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study is one of three Los Angeles-area facilities of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, located at 1313 Vine Street, in central Hollywood. The Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study was named in honor of legendary silent film actress Mary Pickford in 2002. Pickford was one of the founding members of the Academy.

The Hotel Café is a live music venue located off an alley on the Cahuenga Boulevard strip in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California that has become known for helping to establish the careers of new singer-songwriters in the 2000s. The venue began as a coffee shop, but has gained a reputation as an intimate performance space featuring acoustic-based female songwriters, such as Anna Nalick, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Priscilla Ahn, Charlotte Martin, Laura Jansen and Meiko.
The Steve Allen Playhouse
The Steve Allen Playhouse is an old vaudeville theater in Hollywood, United States. Situated at 1228 N. Vine St on the corner with La Mirada, it was originally named the La Mirada Theatre and later the Filmarte Theatre. It was built in 1906 and was the theater where Bob Hope did his first stand-up act; it was also the theater where the You Bet Your Life program with Groucho Marx was filmed in the 1950s.
