Sunset Strip
The Sunset Strip is the name given to the mile-and-a-half (2.4 km) stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood, California. It extends from West Hollywood's eastern border with Hollywood at Havenhurst Drive, to its western border with Beverly Hills at Sierra Drive. The Strip is probably the best-known portion of Sunset, embracing a premier collection of boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs, and nightclubs that are on the cutting edge of the entertainment industry.

Herman Hover took over management of Ciro's in 1942 until it closed its doors in 1957. Hover filed for bankruptcy in 1959, and Ciro's was sold at public auction for $350,000.

Alta Loma Road
Alta Loma Road is the celebrity-filled cul-de-sac that runs a mere one block. It is off the Sunset Strip in the city of West Hollywood. It is one block west of La Cienega Blvd. and is between Holloway Drive and Sunset Boulevard. The street originally ran directly through from Holloway Drive to Sunset Boulevard but was changed to a cul-de-sac after many of the celebritites on the street voiced their concerns about traffic from the Sunset Strip.
Coronet Theatre
The Coronet Theatre was a theatre located at 366 North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. During its heyday in the mid 20th century the theatre was an important art and experimental movie venue, showing the work of people such as Kenneth Anger, Man Ray, Peter Berg, and Richard Vetere. Over the years its stage has hosted such stars as John Houseman, Charles Laughton, Charlton Heston, George C. Scott, Carol Burnett, Noah Wyle, and Glenn Close.
London Fog (nightclub)
The London Fog was a 1960s nightclub located on the Sunset Strip in what was then unincorporated Los Angeles County, California (now in the city of West Hollywood). It is most notable for being the venue where The Doors had their first regular gigs for several months in early 1966 before becoming the house band at the Whisky a Go Go. The London Fog was located just west of the Whisky a Go Go, a few doors down, at 8919 Sunset Blvd.
Andaz West Hollywood
The Andaz West Hollywood is a 239-room Hyatt hotel located at 8401 Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood, California (at Kings Road). The hotel opened in 1963 as the Gene Autry Hotel. Sold in 1966, it was renamed the Continental Hyatt House. In 1976 it became the Hyatt on Sunset until February 1997 when the hotel was renamed the Hyatt West Hollywood. In January 2009 the hotel was renovated and renamed the Andaz West Hollywood.
Schwab's Pharmacy
Schwab's Pharmacy was a drug store located at 8024 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California, and was a popular hangout for movie actors and movie industry dealmakers from the 1930s through the 1950s. Like many drug stores in the United States throughout the mid-twentieth century, Schwab's sold medicines and had a counter serving ice cream dishes and light meals. Schwab's closed its doors in October 1983.

Ash Grove (music club)
The Ash Grove was a folk music club located at 8162 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, founded in 1958 by Ed Pearl and named after the Welsh folk song, "The Ash Grove. " In its short fifteen years, the Ash Grove forever altered the music scene in Los Angeles and helped many artists find a West Coast audience. Bob Dylan recalled that, "I'd seen posters of folk shows at the Ash Grove and used to dream about playing there.... " He did.
Jumbo's Clown Room
Jumbo's Clown Room is a dance bar located on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. It was opened on July 27, 1970 and later became a dance bar in 1980. Jumbo's Clown Room embodies the burlesque spirit more than its counterparts in Hollywood and farther west. Some of the interior and front of the Jumbo's Clown Room building is shown on the video for Let Me Go by 3 Doors Down.
Regency Plaza Suites
The Regency Plaza Suites, also known as the Regency Hotel, the Regency Plaza, and the Plaza Suites Hotel, was an establishment located at 7940 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. It was built in 1958 and consisted of two wooden two-story buildings, a smaller "Garden" building (14 units) with a street address of 7926 Hollywood Blvd. , and the larger "Main House" (45 units) which included the lobby and the hotel pool.
