Spencer Plaza
Spencer Plaza is a shopping mall located on Anna Salai in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and is one of the modern landmarks of the city. Originally built during the period of the British Raj and reconstructed in 1985 on the site of the original Spencer's departmental store, it is the oldest shopping mall in India and one of the biggest shopping malls in South Asia when it was built.
M. A. Chidambaram Stadium
The M. A. Chidambaram Stadium (Tamil: மு. அ. சிதம்பரம் விளையாட்டு அரங்கம்) is a cricket stadium in Chennai (formerly Madras), India, named after M. A. Chidambaram, the former President of BCCI and the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. The stadium was formerly known as Madras Cricket Club Ground or Chepauk Stadium and was established in the year 1916 making it the oldest Cricket Stadium in India which is in continuous use. Commonly known as Chepauk, its first match was played 10 February 1934.

Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium
Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium is a field hockey stadium at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Named after M. Radhakrishna Pillai, it was the venue to the 1996 Men's Champions Trophy, and hosted the tournament again in December 2005. Government Museum, Chennai
Government Museum, established in 1851, is located in Egmore, Chennai. Known as the Madras Museum, the museum is the second oldest museum in India, the first being the Indian Museum at Kolkata, started in 1814. It is also one of the largest museums in South Asia. It is particularly rich in archaeological and numismatic collections. It has the largest collection of Roman antiquities outside Europe. Many of the buildings within the Museum campus are over 100 years old.

Anna Salai, formerly known as Mount Road (abbreviation of St. Thomas Mount road), is an arterial road in Chennai, India. It starts at the Cooum Creek, south of Fort St George and ends at the Kathipara Junction in Guindy. Beyond the Kathipara Junction, the road branches into two, with one traversing westwards to Poonamallee to form the Mount-Poonamallee Road while the other continues southwards to Chennai Airport, Tambaram and beyond to form Grand Southern Trunk Road.

LIC Building
LIC Building is a 15-storied building in Chennai, India, serving as the southern regional headquarters of the Life Insurance Corporation of India. It is the first skyscraper built in Chennai and a famous landmark in the city. Located on the arterial Anna Salai (formerly Mount Road), the building is 177 ft tall. LIC Building was the tallest building in India when it was inaugurated in 1959 and was surpassed by Mumbai's first skyscraper, the Usha Kiran Building, in 1961, which is about 80 m high.
Quaid-e-Millath Government College for Women
During 1974-75, Quaid-e-Millath Govt College for Women replaced the Govt. Arts College for Men at the present location; Anna Salai (Mount Road), Chennai. The Men's college shifted to Nandanam. The Mount Road Arts College was the legacy of Mohameddan Rulers of Wallajah. The Madras Mohamaden College and the Madrasa-e-Azam school for boys functioned from this location. After Independence, Mohamedan College was renamed as Govt. Arts College for Men (1948).
Amir Mahal
Amir Mahal is the official residence of the titular Nawab of Arcot and his family. Situated in Royapettah, a suburb in the present Chennai India, it was constructed in Indo-Saracenic style in 1798, the Amir Mahal has been the residence of the family since 1876. The Nawab’s successor, Mohummad Abdul Ali, and his three brothers still live in the palace with their families. It also has a mini cricket ground which is currently being renovated by the government.

Chintadripet railway station
Chintadripet is a railway station on the Chennai MRTS line. It was opened in November 1995. It is built on the bank of Cooum River alongside Arunachala Street, opposite the new secretariat building. The station will be connected with the Chennai Metro Government Estate station, which is currently under construction. The station building contains a 1150 square metres parking area in its lower level.

The complex is named after O. P. Ramaswamy Reddiyar. The building when completely constructed will house the assembly hall, secretariat and offices of the chief minister and cabinet ministers.
