Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos"
Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" (Greek: Διεθνής Αερολιμένας Αθηνών "Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος", Diethnís Aeroliménas Athinón "Elefthérios Venizélos";, began operation on 29 March 2001 and is the primary civilian airport that serves the city of Athens and the region of Attica. The airport is the major hub and base of Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air. The airport serves more than 14 million travellers annually and its name honours the Greek statesman Eleftherios Venizelos.
Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Centre
The Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Centre hosted the equestrian events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The venue is located at Markópoulo on the outskirts of the Athens suburbs. It was completed in December 2003 and officially opened on August 12, 2004, shortly before the beginning of the competition. The capacity of the venue is 10,000 for the Jumping Event, 8,100 seats for the Dressage and 15,000 seats for the Cross-Country Event.
Markopoulo Olympic Shooting Centre
The Markopoulo Olympic Shooting Centre was the site of the shooting events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The venue is located in Markópoulo, on the outskirts of the eastern suburbs of Athens. It has a seating capacity of 4,000, though a public capacity of only 2,330 for the Olympics. The venue was completed in March, 2004 and officially opened on August 2, 2004, shortly before the beginning of the Olympics.

Attica Zoological Park, is a 20-hectare private zoo located in the Athens suburb of Spata, Greece. The zoo is home to about 2000 animals representing 400 species, and is open 365 days per year. Attica Zoological Park is a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).
Greek National Road 89
Greek National Road 89 is a road in East Attica, Greece. It connects Gerakas, an eastern suburb of Athens, with Sounio, via Koropi and Lavrio. Between Gerakas and Koropi it has lost importance after the opening of the Motorway 6. There are plans to upgrade the section between Koropi and Lavrio to motorway standards, by constructing junctions to replace the traffic lights and generally upgrading the road. This new road will carry the designation A61.
Petalioi Gulf
The Petalioi Gulf (Greek: Κόλπος Πεταλιών - Kolpos Petalion) is a gulf of the Aegean Sea, Greece. It stretches between the east coast of Attica and the south tip of the island Euboea. It takes its name from the Petalioi islands, that are situated in the northeastern part of the Gulf, off the Euboean coast. The Petalioi Gulf is connected to the South Euboean Gulf to the north.
Mihalis Filopoulos
Mihalis Filopoulos (1985–2007) was a 22 year old Panathinaikos fan who was stabbed to death on March 29, 2007 at Paiania, a town near Athens, Greece, during a pre-arranged clash with rival hooligans of Olympiacos. His death caused major upset in Greece and sparked a large police investigation into the organised supporters scene.
Vorres Museum
The Vorres Museum is a diachronic museum of folk and contemporary art in Paiania, East Attica, Greece. Its grounds cover 80 acres including several buildings, gardens and courtyards. Its collection includes over 6000 pieces covering 4000 years of Greek history and art. The museum has been donated by the Vorres family to the Greek state. Its President and Founder is Ian Vorres, who studied in Canada at Queen's University and Toronto University.

Drafi
Drafi is a North American style residential area in the municipality Rafina–Pikermi, East Attica, Greece. It is situated east of Athens, on the slopes of the Penteliko Mountain. Drafi is the prototype model for improved quality of life within a green environment, away from the pollution filled downtown Athens. The master planned development was initiated and brought to fruition by Vasilis Polydoropoulos, the President of the borough of Drafi.
