Shahjalal International Airport
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, formerly Zia International Airport and Dacca International Airport, is the largest airport in Bangladesh. It is located in the capital Dhaka and started operations in 1980, taking over as the country's sole international airport from Tejgaon Airport. It is the home base and hub of all Bangladeshi airlines, including Biman Bangladesh Airlines, GMG Airlines, Regent Airways, United Airways and NovoAir. The airport has an area of 1,981 acres .

North South University or NSU is the first government-approved private university of Bangladesh. The university follows the American system with all its distinctive features-semesters, credit hours, letter grades, one examiner system and so on. Its curricula, when first introduced, were reviewed by relevant departments of University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and University of California at Berkeley, USA, and duly approved by University Grants Commission.
Dhaka Zoo

Established in 1974, the 186-acre Dhaka Zoo is the largest zoo in Bangladesh, and is operated by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. The zoo attracts around 10,000 visitors every day with the number increasing during the weekends.

Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium or Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNS) (Bengali: শের-ই-বাংলা জাতীয় ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম), some times called Mirpur Stadium is a cricket ground in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, located in Mirpur, 10 kilometres away from the city centre. It holds 26,000 people and was built in 2006. At first, it was named "Mirpur Stadium", but the Bangladeshi government later renamed it as "Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium" in remembrance of Sher-e-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Huq.

Presidency University is a private university located in Gulshan and Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Presidency University has three schools containing four departments with a strong emphasis on research-based education. It is a new university, established in 2003, and currently more than 1,500 students are enrolled. The number of faculty members teaching at the university is nearly 100. Tejgaon Airport
Tejgaon Airport in Dhaka, Bangladesh served as the country's sole international airport prior to the construction of Shahjalal International Airport. Following the transfer of civilian flights to the newly built Shahjalal International Airport in 1981, Tejgaon was taken under the control of the Bangladesh Air Force. Although the airfield's status was upgraded to that of a domestic airport in October 2011, no airlines serve it yet.
