It is the northern terminus of the Red Line and the southeastern terminus of the Yellow Line; it also serves the Purple Line, for which it is the southern terminus outside of weekday rush hours. Trains on the Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad (North Shore Line) also stopped at Howard from 1926 until that line was abandoned in 1963.

Evanston Main Street (Metra)
Evanston Main Street is the southernmost of the three commuter railroad stations in Evanston, Illinois, USA. It is served solely by Metra's Union Pacific/North trains, which go south to Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago and as far north as Kenosha, Wisconsin. Travel time to Ogilvie is typically 23 minutes, but can be as high as 26 minutes during rush hour. In Metra's zone-based fare system, the station is in zone C.

Chicago Math and Science Academy (CMSA) is a public charter middle school and high school (grades 6th-12th) located in Chicago, Illinois in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Chicago Math and Science Academy was opened in 2004. CMSA is managed by Concept Schools. Teachers at the school formed a union under Illinois law, which was approved by the National Labor Relations Board in 2010. The school has since appealed that decision.
Calvary (CRT station)
Calvary was a station on the Chicago Rapid Transit Company's Evanston Line, now the Chicago Transit Authority's Purple Line. The station was located at 400 N. Chicago Avenue. Calvary opened on May 16, 1908, and closed in 1931; it was replaced by South Boulevard. After its closure, Calvary stood abandoned for over 60 years before being demolished in 1995.
