Richmond County, Georgia
Richmond County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is one of the original counties of Georgia, created February 5, 1777. As of the 2010 census, the population was 200,549. Following an election in 1995, the city of Augusta consolidated governments with Richmond County. The consolidated entity is known as Augusta-Richmond County, or simply Augusta. The cities of Hephzibah and Blythe in southern Richmond County voted to remain separate and not consolidate.
Augusta National Golf Club
Augusta National Golf Club, located in Augusta, Georgia, is a famous golf club. Founded by Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts on the site of a former indigo plantation, the course was designed by Jones and Alister MacKenzie and opened for play in January 1933. Since 1934, it has played host to the annual Masters Tournament, one of the four major championships in men's professional golf, and the only major played each year at the same course.

Butt Memorial Bridge
The Butt Memorial Bridge is a road bridge in Augusta, Georgia dedicated to Major Archibald Willingham Butt, a victim of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. The bridge was erected in 1914 and dedicated by President William Howard Taft, a personal friend of Butt's. It is notable that the bridge was the first memorial erected to remember the Titanic disaster, and it stands today as the only memorial in Georgia dedicated to the disaster.

Regency Mall was a major regional mall in South Augusta, Georgia. Located at 1700 Gordon Highway, Regency Mall was open from 1978 to 2002. It was anchored by J.B. White, Belk (Belk-Howard, but signed as Belk), Montgomery Ward and Cullum's, and also featured a three-screen movie General Cinema theatre. Developed by Edward J. DeBartolo and Associates, Regency Mall was Augusta’s first shopping mall, opening one week before Augusta Mall.

Westminster Schools of Augusta was founded in 1972 as a private, Christian college-preparatory school located in the western section of Augusta, Georgia. Augusta Mall is a two level super-regional shopping mall located in Augusta, Georgia. It opened on August 3, 1978, one week after the now-defunct Regency Mall. It is one of the largest malls in the state of Georgia, and it is the largest mall in the Augusta metro area. Augusta Mall has five anchors: Dillard's, JCPenney, Sears, Macy's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Barnes & Noble serves as a junior anchor to the mall.

Sibley Mill
The Sibley Mill is a historic building located on the Augusta Canal at 1717 Goodrich Street near downtown Augusta, Georgia. Designed by Jones S. Davis, it was built on a site previously occupied by the Confederate Powderworks, and was completed in 1882. While the interior is typical of any textile mill of the period, its imposing exterior is notable for an ornate style variously described as eclectic and neo-gothic.

University Hospital is a non-profit 581-bed community hospital located in downtown Augusta, Georgia. It was established in 1818, making it the second-oldest hospital in Georgia. In addition to its main campus, University Health Care System has campuses in South Augusta and in the Augusta suburbs of Martinez and Evans. University Hospital receives no local funding, and this acute care hospital serves a 25-county region in Georgia and South Carolina.

Forest Hills Golf Club

Bobby Jones began his famous 1930 Grand Slam of Golf in 1930 with a win in the Southeastern Open here. Thirteen of the original holes and the club house survive. The course is now home to the Augusta State Jaguars golf team.
