San Leandro (BART station)

San Leandro is a Bay Area Rapid Transit station located near the downtown area of San Leandro, California. It is the busiest station in the city and is also one of the busiest in the East Bay. The station consists of two elevated side platforms with the concourse mezzanine at ground level. Service at this station began on September 11, 1972. This station is in BART District 3 and is represented by Bob Franklin.

Sobrante Park, Oakland, California

Sobrante Park is a neighborhood located in East Oakland, California, which is partially separated from the rest of the city by railroad tracks and industrial neighborhoods, with limited road access. It was built shortly after World War II, first as a White-Only Lockout and then gradually becoming a White flight red-zone in the mid to late 50's, and in the early 60's it became a working-class black neighborhood.

Dunsmuir House

The Dunsmuir House and Gardens (also known by the name The Dunsmuir-Hellman Historic Estate; and previously known as Oakvale Park) is located in Oakland, California on a 50-acre site. The Dunsmuir House has a neoclassical-revival architectural style and is listed in the US National Register of Historic Places. Westgate Center

The Westgate Center shopping mall is a mega-strip mall located in San Leandro, California. It is currently anchored by Wal-Mart, Costco, Sports Authority, The Home Depot and Office Depot. Costco, Burger King and Shell are externally located from the rest of the mall. San Leandro High School

San Leandro High School is an American four-year public high school in San Leandro, California. The school is a member of the San Leandro Unified School District. Lincoln High School and Lighthouse Independent Study Center are alternative educational programs for the San Leandro Unified School District In 2007, The San Leandro Unified School District bought land to build a new building to house the freshman class to relieve overcrowding at SLHS.

Rancho San Leandro

Rancho San Leandro was a 6,830-acre Mexican land grant in present day Alameda County, California given in 1842 by Governor Juan Alvarado to José Joaquín Estudillo.
