Tushino
Tushino is a former village and town to the north of Moscow, which has been part of the city's area since 1960. Between 1939 and 1960, Tushino was classed as a separate town. The Skhodnya River flows across the southern part of Tushino. The village was attested since the late 14th century as an estate of boyar Vasili Ivanovich Kvashnin-Tusha and later his sons Pyotr and Semyon.
Planernaya (Moscow Metro)
Planernaya is a Moscow Metro station. It is the northwestern terminus of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line. It opened on 30 December 1975 as the final section of the northern extension of the Krasnopresnensky radius. The architect Trenin faced the pillars with white marble and the floor with black granite and decorated the walls with geometric patterns formed from white, blue-grey, and yellow shades. This gave the station a very bright appearance.
Skhodnenskaya
Skhodnenskaya is a station on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. The station is a single vault, which was a significant engineering achievement and a change from the typical functionality design of the 1960s. Actually, Moscow's history of single vault stations began 40 years prior to Skhodnenskaya with Biblioteka Imeni Lenina which opened along with the Metro itself in 1935.
Tushinskaya
Tushinskaya is a station on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was designed by I.G. Petukhova and V.P. Kachurinets and opened on December 30, 1975. The station was built to a modified standard design, with gray-blue marble pillars and white marble walls with inlaid zigzag friezes. Tushinskaya is one of the Metro's busiest stations, serving about 111,000 passengers per day according to a 1999 study.
Shchukinskaya
Shchukinskaya is a station on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. Named after the village of Schukino before it was consumed by Moscow and became a municipality in the 1940s, it was opened on 30 December 1975. The design follows the original pillar-trispan (40 columns instead of 26). The pillars are faced with different shades of pinkish marble (from the Ukrainian deposit of Burovshchina) and punctuated by a vertical strip of anodized aluminum on each face.
Spartak (Metro)
Spartak (Russian: Спартак - former name Volokolamskaya Russian: Волоколамская) is an unopened station on the Moscow Metro's Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line which is located under the Tushino Airport. It was constructed in 1975 as part of the northern extension of the Krasnopresnensky radius but never opened. Moscow's 1960s expansion plans called for a construction of a municipal housing district on the old Tushino Airfield, and the station was to serve it.
Strogino District
Strogino, formerly known as Ostrogino (Острогино), is a district in North-Western Administrative Okrug of Moscow, Russia, located on the right bank of the Moskva River. An eponymous Moscow Metro station Strogino on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line was opened here on January 7, 2008. The district is named after an extinct village and known to have existed since the early 17th century as an estate of the Romanovs and later the Naryshkin family.
Tushino airfield
Tushino airfield is a general aviation airfield located in Tushino, in the northwest part of Moscow, Russia. During the Cold War it was the site of military airshows which reviewed the latest in Soviet innovation. These were held on the Soviet Air Fleet Day.
Otkrytie Arena
Otkrytie Arena (or Spartak Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Moscow, Russia, the construction of which started in October 2010. Once completed in 2014, it will be used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of FC Spartak Moscow. The stadium was designed with a capacity of 35,000 people but later this was changed to a 42,000 people. The current design is developed by AECOM, which will also design a separate indoor arena.
Zhivopisny Bridge
Zhivopisny Bridge (Russian: Живописный Мост,lit. Picturesque bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge that spans Moskva River in north-western Moscow, Russia. It is the first cable-stayed bridge in Moscow. Opened on 27 December 2007 as a part of Krasnoprenensky avenue. It is also the highest cable-stayed bridge in Europe.
Pokrovsky Hills
Pokrovsky Hills is a gated community in the north-west part of Moscow, Russia. The residential community consists of 100 townhouses (after the first part of construction, total is planned to be 260). The neighborhood is mostly consisted of foreigners as it is adjacent to the Anglo-American School of Moscow. Pokrovsky Hills is situated in a hilly and wooded area with narrow streets. The nearest metro station is Tushinskaya.

North-Western Tunnel
North-Western Tunnel is a road and subway tunnel in Moscow, Russia. It is a part of the Krasnopresnensky prospekt, that extends the M9 motorway to the city center, and of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Metro Line. It is about 2.8 km long and is the fourth longest in-city tunnel of Europe. It runs under the Serebryany bor forest. The double-level tunnel combines the road and railway traffic. The tunnel was opened on December 27, 2007.
Strogino (Moscow Metro)
Strogino is a Moscow Metro station in the Strogino District, North-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line, between Myakinino and Krylatskoye stations. The station opened on 7 January 2008 as a part of a massive Strogino-Mitino extension, and used to be the terminus of the line until its extension to Mitino on December 26, 2009.

Myakinino is a Moscow Metro station in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast. It is on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line, between Volokolamskaya and Strogino stations. Myakinino opened on 26 December 2009. It is the first station to be built outside Moscow, in the town of Krasnogorsk. It is a ground station, located near the Moscow Oblast Administrative HQ and the Crocus City Mall. The construction of the tunnel from Strogino station (previously the terminus of the line) to Myakinino started in summer 2008.
