Moscow theater hostage crisis
The Moscow theater hostage crisis, also known as the 2002 Nord-Ost siege, was the seizure of the crowded Dubrovka Theater on 23 October 2002 by some 40 to 50 armed Chechens who claimed allegiance to the Islamist militant separatist movement in Chechnya. They took 850 hostages and demanded the withdrawal of Russian forces from Chechnya and an end to the Second Chechen War. The siege was officially led by Movsar Barayev.
Kolomenskoye
Kolomenskoye is a former royal estate situated several kilometers to the southeast of the city center of Moscow, Russia, on the ancient road leading to the town of Kolomna (hence the name). The 390 hectare scenic area overlooks the steep banks of the Moskva River. It became a part of Moscow in the 1960s.
Avtozavodskaya (Moscow Metro)
Avtozavodskaya (Russian: Автозаво́дская, lit. auto factory) is a station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It is named for the nearby Zavod Imeni Likhacheva, where ZIS and ZIL limousines were built. The station was opened in 1943, a few months before Novokuznetskaya and Paveletskaya. The architect was Alexey Dushkin. Both the tall pillars and walls are faced with pinkish Oraktuoy marble.

The name Krutitsy (pl. ), i.e. steep river banks, originally meant the hills immediately east from Yauza River.
Nikolo-Perervinsky Monastery
Nikolo-Perervinsky Monastery (Николо-Перервинский монастырь in Russian) is the southernmost historical monastery of Moscow. It is dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Miracle-Worker. It is situated at south of the district of Pechatniki between the Moscow river and the Lublino railroad classification yard. The abbey was first mentioned in the city records in 1623, although it is believed that it had existed for more than a century prior to that.

Kashirskaya
Kashirskaya is a cross-platform station complex on the Moscow Metro. It was opened on 11 August 1969 as part of the Kakhovsky radius extension, and from 1983 was an interchange between the Kakhovskaya and the Orekhovskaya branches of the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. Since 1995 it is officially classed as two stations after the Kakhovskaya Line's separation, and also becoming the terminus of it.
Volgogradsky Prospekt
Volgogradsky Prospekt is a Moscow Metro station in the Nizhegorodsky District, South-Eastern Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line, between Proletarskaya and Kuzminki stations. Volgogradsky Prospekt was opened on 31 December 1966 as part of the Zhadovsky radius and is named after the nearby Avenue that leads on from the centre of Moscow into an intercity highway all the way to the southwest of Russia, although ironically not directly to Volgograd.

The station was opened on 28 December 1995 as part of the first stage of the Lyublinsky radius, and is named after the district that it is situated in. Kozhukhovskaya
Kozhukhovskaya is a station on the Moscow Metro's Lyublinskaya Line. Named after the district it is located in, the station was opened on 28 December 1995 as part of the first stage of the Lyublinsky radius. The station is a single vaulted design with a back vault to accommodate for the additional hydroisolation required. The theme of the decoration is history of automobile design which shows the perfection of the station walls made of white marble turning into a large aluminum ceiling.
Eduard Streltsov Stadium
Eduard Streltsov Stadium, formerly Torpedo Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Moscow, Russia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Torpedo Moscow. The stadium was built in 1959. It had very modest facilities at the time and was used as a training ground by Torpedo Moscow. By 1979 the stadium had been completely overhauled. The capacity was enlarged to 16,000 and an under-soil heating system was installed, the first in Russia.

Nagatinsky zaton District (Russian: район Нагатинский затон) is a district in Southern Administrative Okrug of Moscow, Russia, located on the right bank of the Moskva River. The name Nagatino comes from a former village, known since the 14th century, which was engulfed by Moscow in 1960. District authorities control Kolomenskoye park, four permanent uninhabited islands on Moskva River and the peninsula of Nagatino Poima on its opposite, northern bank.

Kashira Highway
Kashirskoye Highway or Kashira Highway (Russian: Каширское шоссе, Kashirskoye Shosse) is a major street in Moscow, Russia, continued as a highway beyond the city into Moscow Oblast as a backup route for highway M4. It was named in the 19th century after the old Kashira Road, which led to the town of Kashira. It was one of the sites of the Russian apartment bombings of 1999. Along the road, major landmarks include the Saburovo Church and the Orekhovo-Borisovo Cathedral.
Golosov Ravine
Golosov Ravine (Голосов Овраг), also known as Vlasov (Власов) ravine is a deep ravine in Moscow, Russia, between the Kolomenskoe Hill and Dyakovo Hill. The ravine has several springs and a brook streaming at its bottom. Up in the ravine, on the left side of it, there is a Neopagan shrine, organized around two venerated "sacred stones". In years 2006-2007, during the renovation of Kolomenskoe sides of the ravine were reinforced, and pedestrian paths and stairs were created on its sides.
