Gazprom
Open Joint Stock Company Gazprom is the largest extractor of natural gas and one of the largest companies in the world. Its headquarters are in the Cheryomushki District, South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow. Its name is a contraction of Russian: Газовая промышленность, Gazovaya Promyshlennost, meaning "gas industry". Gazprom was created in 1989 when the Ministry of Gas Industry of the Soviet Union transformed itself into a corporation, keeping all its assets intact.

The Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP; Russian Институт теоретической и экспериментальной физики) is located in Moscow, Russia as a MinAtom physical institute. Established December 1, 1945, ITEP exists as a community of people studying topics ranging from theoretical physics and mathematics to biology and chemistry. The group organizes schools for scholars and undergraduates. The school conducts and produces original scientific research.
Steklov Institute of Mathematics
Steklov Institute of Mathematics or Steklov Mathematical Institute (Russian: Математический институт имени В. А. Стеклова) is a research institute based in Moscow, specialized in mathematics, and a part of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was established April 24, 1934 by the decision of the General Assembly of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Leningrad. The institute is named after Vladimir Andreevich Steklov.
Akademicheskaya (Moscow Metro)
Akademicheskaya is a station on the Moscow Metro's Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line. It is named for the Russian Academy of Sciences despite the fact that Leninsky Prospekt is actually much closer to that institution. Akademicheskaya opened on October 13, 1962 and was designed by Yuliya Kolesnikova, Petukhova, and Fokina. Built to the relatively new pillar-trispan design (aka Sorokonozhka, centipede), which became prevalent in the 1960s due to its low construction costs.
Profsoyuznaya (Moscow Metro)
Profsoyuznaya (Russian: Профсоюзная, English: Labor Unions' Station) is a station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. Opened in 1962, Profsoyuznaya is built to a standard pillar-trispan and features pillars faced (except for very thin unfinished strips at the top and bottom) with gray marble. The walls are finished with a diamond pattern made up of 4×4 squares of white ceramic tile. The architects responsible for the station were Nina Aleshina and N. Demchinsky.
Novye Cheryomushki (Moscow Metro)
Novye Cheryomushki is a train station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was opened as the final segment of the Kaluzhskiy radius on 13 October 1962, serving briefely as a terminus for two years. Novye Cheryomushki was built to the standard pillar-trispan design and features pillars faced with pinkish marble and tiled walls accented with two horizontal stripes of reddish-brown tile. The architects were M. Markovskiy and A. Ryzhkov.
Kaluzhskaya (Moscow Metro)
Kaluzhskaya is a station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on 12 August 1974, replacing a temporary station of the same name (located in the easternmost service bay of the nearby Kaluzhskoe Depot) that had been operating since 1964. The new station was built to the pillar-trispan design with tapered octagonal columns in place of the usual square pillars. Also the step of the columns was extended from 4 metres to 6.5, and the height of the ceiling raised.
Bitsa Park
Bitsevski Park is one of the largest natural parks (forests) in Moscow, Russia. The park, traversed by the Chertanovka River and the Bitsa River, sprawls for some 10 km from north to south and covers the area of 18 square kilometres. The park is elongated from the north to the south and is bounded by Balaklavsky Avenue from the north.
Russian Space Research Institute
The Russian Space Research Institute is the leading organization of the Russian Academy of Sciences on space exploration to benefit fundamental science. It was formerly known as the Space Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences . The Institute is located in Moscow with a staff of 289 scientists. It conducts scientific research in the fields of astrophysics, planetary science, solar physics, Sun-Earth relations, cosmic plasma, and geophysics.
Kakhovskaya (Moscow Metro)
Kakhovskaya is a station of the Moscow Metro's Kakhovskaya Line. It was opened on 11 August 1969 as the southern terminus of the Zamoskvoretskaya Line, and from 1983 until 1995 was the terminus of the Kahovskaya branch of this line. Since the detachment of the present Kakhovskaya Line in 1995, the station has been its western terminus. The station was designed by architects Nikolay Demchinsky and Yuliya Kolesnikova.

The Central Economic Mathematical Institute (Russian: Центральный экономико-математический институт) of the Russian Academy of Sciences is an economic research institute located in Moscow. It focuses on economic theory, mathematical economics and econometrics. The CEMI was established in 1963 as an institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, superseding the Laboratory of Economics and Mathematical Methods which had been founded by Vasily Sergeevich Nemchinov in 1958.
Cheryomushki District
Cheryomushki (Russian: район Черёмушки, derived from "черёмуха", meaning "Bird Cherry tree") is a district of South-Western Administrative Okrug of Moscow, Russia. District's population: 101,847; 89,264. The district is delimited by Nakhimovsky Prospekt (north), Obrucheva Street (south), Sevastopolsky Prospekt (east), Profsoyuznaya Street, and Vlasova Street (west). The district is mostly residential, with an industrial area near Kaluzhskaya metro station. It houses the Gazprom headquarters.

Kaluzhskaya (closed)
Old Kaluzhskaya was a temporary station of the Moscow Metro on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line and was in operation from 1964 to 1974. It was housed in the easternmost bay of the Kaluzhskaya Train Station in southwestern Moscow and was replaced by the current Kaluzhskaya station which was opened in 1974. It is one of two abandoned stations on the Moscow Metro (the other being the old Pervomayskaya station).
Leninsky Avenue, Moscow
Leninsky Avenue is a major avenue in Moscow, Russia, that goes from Oktyabrskaya in the central part of the city to Yugo-Zapadnaya in the outskirts. It is the second widest street in Moscow after Leningradsky Avenue. Its width varies between 108 and 120 metres.
