Flinders University

Tonsley railway station
Tonsley railway station is a railway station on the AdelaideMetro train network. It is the southern terminus of the Tonsley railway line, and is located in the southwestern Adelaide suburb of Mitchell Park. It is located 13.0 km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. Trains used to operate between 7am and 7pm on Monday-Friday, with no weekend service, but currently the line is closed. It is due to reopen in late 2013.

Founded as a rural village in 1838 on the banks of the Sturt River, Marion was found to have rich soil and the population expanded rapidly. Colonel William Light laid out the plan for the village, as he had done with the City of Adelaide itself.

Ascot Park railway station
Ascot Park railway station is a railway station on the Noarlunga Centre railway line in Adelaide, South Australia, and is located 10.2 km from Adelaide Railway Station. The station is positioned near Daws Road and can be reached by travelling down Joy Street or Railway Terrace. The station has two tracks, either side of an island platform with a pedestrian subway connecting the platform to the two adjacent streets. Parking (although insecure) is available on both these streets.

The Australian Science and Mathematics School (or ASMS) is a coeducational public senior high school for Years 10 - 12 located in Adelaide, South Australia on the campus of Flinders University. Mitchell Park, South Australia
Mitchell Park is a suburb south of Adelaide. It shares common boundaries with Marion, Bedford Park, Clovelly Park, and Ascot Park. In recent years it has undergone major redevelopments through a program of urban renewal which included the renovation of many properties owned by the former South Australian Housing Trust. These projects have won many awards. The Tonsley railway line passes through the suburb, stopping at Mitchell Park railway station.

Bedford Park, South Australia
Bedford Park is a southern suburb of Adelaide in South Australia. The Hancock family established a homestead and farm at the foot of the Adelaide Hills in the mid 19th century. A family name from an earlier generation lent its name to the property of Bedford which was later changed to Bedford Park. In 1917, 400 acres of the property was purchased by the South Australian Government and a tuberculosis sanatorium was built.

Ascot Park is bordered in the west by Marion Road, to the north by Wood Street, in the east by Railway Terrace and to the south by Daws Road. Clovelly Park, South Australia
Clovelly Park is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide in the local government area of the City of Marion. Before becoming an 'advanced' suburb, it was a farm and vineyard. It has a population of around 2,700. The borders are defined by Daws Road to the north, South Road to the east, Sturt Road to the south, and a combination of Percy Avenue and the Tonsley railway line to the west.

Woodlands Park railway station
Woodlands Park railway station is a railway station on the Noarlunga and Tonsley railway lines. It is named after the old suburb of Woodlands Park is located in the inner southwestern Adelaide suburb of Edwardstown. It is the last railway station common to the two lines. It is located 9.1 km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. It is quite a popular, well frequented station, and services the southern part of Edwardstown, as well as the northern part of Ascot Park.

It is located 11.5km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. Since its opening, there have been no significant changes to the station, besides the addition of a newer speaker system. This station is currently closed and could reopen in late 2013.

Flinders Medical Centre
Flinders Medical Centre is a 580 bed public teaching hospital and medical school, co-located with Flinders University and the 130 bed Flinders Private Hospital located at Bedford Park, South Australia. It opened in 1976. It is one of the major public hospitals operating in metropolitan Adelaide. It serves as the trauma centre for the southern suburbs generally, parts of the Adelaide Hills and obstetrics in particular. It is the liver and corneal transplant centre for South Australia.
Melrose Park, South Australia
Melrose Park is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Mitcham. It is bordered by South Road, Daws Road, Winston Avenue and Edward Street. Until 1989, Melrose Park was part of the suburb of Edwardstown. The name change occurred as the suburb was quite large, located on either side of South Road and was in the jurisdiction of two local government councils, with the larger western side belonging to the City of Marion.
