Berry, New South Wales

Berry is a small Australian town in the Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast in the state of New South Wales, located 145 km south of the state capital, Sydney. The indigenous people of the area were the Wodi Wodi people. In the 1810s, George William Evans, Government Surveyor, reported on the Berry district as a possible settlement and on the good stands of red cedar. Subsequently, itinerant timber cutters visited to cut and send cedar to Sydney.

Berry is a CityRail railway station on the South Coast railway line. It serves the town of Berry. The station opened on 2 June 1893. The station has one side platform and a platformless crossing loop opposite the station which is not often used. It also has a siding at its southern end which is used to cross trains. Knights Hill (New South Wales)

Knights Hill is a geographical feature that is part of the Illawarra Escarpment. It is located south of Albion Park. The feature comprises a 709 metre above sea level summit, and several other small hills, atop a plateau adjacent to the escarpment edge. Atop the plateau are TV antennae and a small farm. The name first appears in a map by Surveyor Hoddle, after whom a track west of Kiama is named. He surveyed the region in the 19th century.

Robertson Nature Reserve is a rainforest reserve near Robertson, New South Wales, Australia. A remnant of the Yarrawa Brush, once 2,450 hectares in size. This tiny reserve contains 4.5 hectares of original rainforest. A 600 metre track through the forest is suitable to wheelchairs, with several signs with information on local plants and animals. The reserve is situated on the outskirts of town, at 750 metres above sea level, near the edge of the Illawarra Escarpment.
