Morehouse College

Morehouse College is a private, all-male, liberal arts, historically black college located in Atlanta, in the U.S. state of Georgia. Along with Hampden–Sydney College and Wabash College, Morehouse is one of three remaining traditional men's liberal arts colleges in the United States. Spelman College

Spelman College is a four-year liberal arts women's college located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The college is part of the Atlanta University Center academic consortium in Atlanta. Founded in 1881 as the Atlanta Baptist Female Seminary, Spelman was the fourth historically black female institution of higher education to receive its collegiate charter in 1924. WCLK FM 91.9 is a radio station licensed to Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and serves the core area of metro Atlanta. It is owned and operated as a public radio station by Clark Atlanta University. WCLK is also broadcast in HD radio. Georgia Dome

It is primarily the home stadium for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons and the NCAA's Georgia State Panthers football team. The Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUC Consortium) is the largest contiguous consortium of African Americans in higher education in the United States. Battle of Ezra Church

The Battle of Ezra Church, also known as the Battle of Ezra Chapel and the Battle of the Poor House was fought on July 28, 1864, in Fulton County, Georgia, during the American Civil War. The battle was part of the Atlanta Campaign, which featured Maj. Gen. William T. Sherman's Union Army of the Tennessee against the Army of Tennessee, commanded by Lt. Gen. John B. Herndon Stadium

Alonzo Herndon Stadium, named for Alonzo Herndon, is a 15,011-seat stadium on the campus of Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is the only two-sided stadium in the Atlanta University Center. It is one block over from the locally known Herndon Home, and sits above the MARTA East-West rail line. Forbes Arena

The Forbes Arena is a 6,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It is home to the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers basketball team. It is the deepest station in the MARTA rail system, at 120 feet below Peachtree Street. Vine City is an at-grade train station on the Blue and part-time terminus station of Green lines of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It is one of only 2 stations served by the Green, and Blue lines at all times. Terminal Station (Atlanta)

Terminal Station in Atlanta was the larger of two principal train stations in downtown, Union Station being the other. Opening in 1905, Terminal Station served Southern Railway, Seaboard Air Line, Central of Georgia, and the Atlanta and West Point. The architect was P. Thornton Marye, whose firm also designed the Fox Theater and Capital City Club in downtown Atlanta, as well as the Birmingham Terminal Station.

Paschal's is an American company based in Atlanta, Georgia. It originated in 1947 with brothers Robert and James Paschal opening Paschal's Restaurant at 837 West Hunter Street. The Flair

The Flair is a bronze statue in Atlanta, Georgia by artist Richard MacDonald finished in 1996 before the 1996 Summer Olympics. It stands just east of the Georgia Dome in the Georgia World Congress Center complex. The Flair is dedicated to the Olympic athletes and to "all those who exemplify determination and dedication in the pursuit of excellence. " The sculpture was a gift of Mr MacDonald to the state and to the city. Is was dedicated on July 8, 1996.
