Bonaventure Cemetery
Bonaventure Cemetery is a public cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah, Georgia. The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book. It is the largest of the city's municipal cemeteries, containing nearly 160 acres . The entrance to the cemetery is located at 330 Bonaventure Road.

It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Savannah Sand Gnats minor league baseball team, the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets. It was also the part-time home of the Savannah State University college baseball team. It was also used from 1927 until 1959 for the annual Thanksgiving Day game between Savannah High School and Benedictine Academy.
