Arizona State University

Arizona State University (commonly referred to as ASU or Arizona State) is a national space-grant institution and public metropolitan research university located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area of the U.S. state of Arizona. ASU is the largest public university in the United States by enrollment. Founded in 1885 as the Tempe Normal School for the Arizona Territory, the school came under control of the Arizona Board of Regents in 1945 and was renamed Arizona State College.

Center for Meteorite Studies

Sun Devil Gym

Sun Devil Gym is a 4,609 seat multi-purpose arena in Tempe, Arizona. It was home to the Arizona State University Sun Devils basketball team from 1953 until the Wells Fargo Arena opened in 1974. The building is now known as Physical Education West and is used mostly for intramural sports at the university. Prior to its opening, the basketball team played at either College Gym (cap. 1,500) on the Tempe campus, or at the Mesa Civic Center.
