Gediminas Avenue
Gediminas Avenue is the main street of Vilnius, where most of the governmental institutions of Lithuania are concentrated, including the government, parliament, Constitutional Court and ministries. It is also the place of cultural institutions such as Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, Bank of Lithuania, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and Martynas Mažvydas National Library Nowadays it is also a popular shopping and dining street.

The NASDAQ OMX Vilnius is a stock exchange established in 1993 (Vilnius Stock Exchange, VSE) operating in Vilnius, Lithuania. It is owned by OMX, which also operates Helsinki Stock Exchange and Stockholm Stock Exchange. VSE, together with Riga Stock Exchange and Tallinn Stock Exchange is part of the joint Baltic market that was established to minimize investing barriers between Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian markets.
Siemens Arena
Siemens Arena, located in Šeškinė elderate of Vilnius, is the second largest arena in Lithuania. It generally hosts basketball games as well as concerts. The arena opened on October 30, 2004. The basketball club BC Lietuvos Rytas, which currently competes in the domestic LKL, the regional BBL, and in continental competitions (the Euroleague or Eurocup, depending on its current performance), uses the facility for all of its European home fixtures.
Žalgiris Stadium
Žalgiris Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Žirmūnai elderate of Vilnius, Lithuania. The stadium holds 15,029 and was being used by the first division 1 Lyga - REO Vilnius. It is the largest football stadium in Lithuania. It is named after the Battle of Grunwald and was rebuilt by the German POWs after World War II and finished in 1950 (the stadium existed already before World War II and was used i.a. by Pogoń Wilno; in 1936 polish athletics championships were held at the stadium).

Constitutional Court of Lithuania
The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania (in Lithuanian: Lietuvos Respublikos Konstitucinis Teismas) is a special court established by the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania of 1992; it began the activities after the adoption of the Law on Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania on February 3, 1993. Since its inception, the Court has been located in the city of Vilnius, Gediminas Avenue. The main task of the court is judicial review.
Lithuanian Institute of History
The Lithuanian Institute of History (Lithuanian: Lietuvos istorijos institutas) is a state-funded research institution in Lithuania. Governed by national law, it is the country's main institution of history research, concentrating mostly on the history of Lithuania and its neighbouring states. The institute employs 126 people; 64 of them have Ph.D. degrees and 4 are hablitated doctors. Its director is Rimantas Miknys.
Lithuanian Special Archives
Lithuanian Special Archives is an archive in Lithuania for the storage of documents from the period 1940-1991. Numerous KGB and Lithuanian SSR Ministry of Interior documents were left in Lithuania after it gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, and are now held here. Around 18,000 linear metres of records are stored. The Special Archives are maintained by the government Lithuanian Archives Department, and are collected and stored according to Lithuanian Archives law.

Lukiškės Square
Lukiškės Square (other spellings include Łukiszki, Lukiski, Lukishki, Lithuanian: Lukiškių aikštė) is the largest square (about 4 ha) in Vilnius, Lithuania, located in the center of the city. A major street in Vilnius, Gediminas Avenue, passes by the southern border of the square. It is surrounded by many public buildings, including Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign affairs, Appeals Court, Academy of Music and Theater, Church of St. James and St.
Lukiškės Prison
Lukiškės Prison (Lithuanian: Lukiškių tardymo izoliatorius kalėjimas) is a prison in the center of Vilnius, Lithuania, near the Lukiškės Square. As of 2007, it houses approximately 1,000 prisoners and employs around 250 prison guards. Most prisoners are there under temporary arrest awaiting court decisions or transfers to other detention facilities, but there is also a permanent prison with about 180 inmates; about 80 of whom are serving for life.

Seimas Palace
Seimas Palace is the Lithuanian parliament named Seimas seat in Lithuania's capital Vilnius. Works on the construction of the first wing of palace were carried out in 1976. The Construction was supervised by architects Algimantas Nasvytis and Vytautas Nasvytis. In 1980 9717,37 square meters palace works were completed. Later the building was expanded due to growing needs.
Lietuvos rytas Arena
Lietuvos rytas Arena is a 1,700-seat basketball arena in Vilnius, Lithuania, built close to Siemens Arena. Lietuvos rytas and Perlas play the Lithuanian Basketball League's and the Baltic Basketball League's home matches in the arena. More important or highly anticipated matches in the LKL and BBL, as well as all home fixtures in European competitions, are played in the Siemens Arena. Now dissolved Lithuanian and European women's basketball powerhouse Teo also played in the Lietuvos rytas Arena.

Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center
The Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center (Lithuanian: Jono Meko Vizualiųjų Menų Centras) is an avant-garde arts centre in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center was opened on November 10, 2007 by acclaimed Lithuanian filmmaker Jonas Mekas. The premiere exhibition featured The Avant-Garde: From Futurism to Fluxus. Part of the recently purchased Fluxus art collection, consisting of 2,600 pieces, is presented to the public in the Visual Arts Center.
Jewish cemeteries of Vilnius
The Jewish cemeteries of Vinius are the three Jewish cemeteries of the Lithuanian Jews living in what is today Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, which was known to them for centuries as Vilna, a principal city of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and in the 19th Century the Pale of Settlement in the Russian Empire. Two of the cemeteries were destroyed during the Soviet occupation and during Lithuanian SSR times and the third is still active.
Lithuania National Stadium
Lithuania National Stadium is a new multi-use stadium in Vilnius, Lithuania, that is currently under construction. It will be used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of the Lithuania national football team. The stadium will have a capacity of 25,000 people. It replaces the use of S. Darius and S. Girėnas Stadium, Žalgiris Stadium, and Vėtra Stadium. The construction is temporarily abandoned since March 2010.

Vilnius Guggenheim Hermitage Museum
Vilnius Guggenheim Hermitage Museum was a proposed art museum in the city of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. On April 8, 2008 an international jury named Zaha Hadid, a British-Iraqi architect, the winner of the international design competition for the museum. The museum was initially scheduled to open in 2011. Later, it was announced, that museum will open in 2013.
Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre
Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT) (Lithuanian: Lietuvos nacionalinis operos ir baleto teatras) is an opera house and ballet theatre in Vilnius, Lithuania. It was built in 1974. The Lithuanian State Symphony, the Kaunas State Choir, and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra are housed in the LNOBT. Apart from standard Western and Russian repertory works, the opera also performs national operas.
Museum of Genocide Victims
The Museum of Genocide Victims (Lithuanian: Genocido aukų muziejus) in Vilnius, Lithuania was established in 1992 by order of the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and the President of the Lithuanian Union of Political Prisoners and Deportees. In 1997 it was transferred to the Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania. The museum is located in the former KGB headquarters across from the Lukiškės Square, therefore it is informally referred to as the KGB Museum.
Our Lady of the Sign Church, Vilnius
Our Lady of the Sign Church is an Orthodox church in the Žvėrynas district of Vilnius, built in 1903. The idea of building a new Orthodox church in Vilnius came from Orthodox Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit, which also organised a collection of funds in the whole Russian Empire. The church, constructed in the most popular Neo-Byzantine style, was consecrated in 1903 by Iuvenaliy, the Orthodox archbishop of Vilnius.
Green Bridge (Vilnius)
The Green Bridge is a bridge over the Neris River in Vilnius, Lithuania. It is the oldest bridge in the city and connects city center with Šnipiškės.
