University of Tehran
The University of Tehran, also known as Tehran University and UT, is Iran's oldest university. Based on its historical, socio-cultural and political pedigree, as well as its research and teaching profile, UT has been nicknamed "The mother university of Iran". It is almost always ranked as the best university in Iran in national and international rankings. It is also the premier knowledge producing institute among all OIC countries.
Assembly of Experts
The Assembly of Experts (also Assembly of Experts of the Leadership) of Iran, also translated as Council of Experts, is a deliberative body of Mujtahids (Islamic scholars) that is charged with electing and removing the Supreme Leader of Iran and supervising his activities. Members of the assembly are elected from lists of candidates by direct public vote for eight-year terms. The number of members has ranged from 82 elected in 1982 to 88 elected in 2006.
Amirkabir University of Technology
Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), formerly called the Tehran Polytechnic, is a public, research university located in Tehran, Iran. AUT is one of the most prestigious universities and the first established technical university in Iran, referred to as "Mother of Industrial Universities". The university was first founded by Habib Nafisi in 1958 and then developed by Dr. Mohammad Ali Mojtahedi, during the reign of the Pahlavi dynasty.
Carpet Museum of Iran
Located in Tehran, beside Laleh Park, and founded in 1976, the Carpet Museum of Iran exhibits a variety of Persian carpets from all over Iran, dating from 18th century to present. The museum's exhibition hall occupies 3,400 square meters (10,200 ft²) and its library contains 7,000 books. The museum was designed by the last Queen of Iran, Farah Diba Pahlavi.

Alborz High School, is a college preparatory high school located in the heart of Tehran, Iran. It is one of the first modern high schools in Asia and Middle East, built by Americans, named after the Alborz mountain range north of Tehran. Its place in the shaping of Iran's intellectual elite compares with that of Eton College in England and Phillips Academy in the United States.
Laleh Park
Laleh Park (Pârk-e Laleh, formerly called Park-e Farah after Farah Diba), is a large recreation area of the Iranian capital Tehran. It is well-kept and has beautiful green areas adjacent to The Ministry of Agriculture in the east, Iran's National Rug Gallery to the northwest, and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art in the west. This park (one of c. 800 parks in Tehran) lies in central Tehran and north of Tehran University.
Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art
Tehran's Museum of Contemporary Art (TMOCA) is an art museum in Tehran, Iran. Inaugurated in 1977, and built adjacent to Tehran's Laleh Park, the museum was designed by Iranian architect Kamran Diba, who employed elements from traditional Persian architecture. The building can be regarded as an example of contemporary art in itself. Most of the museum area is located underground. It is considered to have the most valuable collection of Western modern art outside of Europe and the United States.
Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences
Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services is a large medical school and one of the two medical universities in northern Tehran, Iran. It began its mission in 1964 with establishing the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. Following the merge of some of the treatment and educational units and organizations affiliated to the then Ministry of Health and “Melli University” in 1986, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences began its activities independently.

Tarbiat Modares University (دانشگاه تربیت مدرس) is located in Tehran, Iran and was founded in 1982. Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) is the only exclusively graduate university in Iran. The university was founded to train university professors hence teaching related subjects are offered besides the main curricular ones.
Senate of Iran
The Senate House of Iran was the upper house legislative chamber during the Pahlavi dynasty and was disbanded after the Islamic Revolution in 1979 in Iran (also known as Persia), when the legislature became unicameral. It had been established in the 1906 Persian Constitutional Revolution. Currently, the building is used by the Assembly of Experts.

Footage of the death of Nedā Āghā-Soltān drew international attention after she was shot dead during the 2009 Iranian election protests. Her death was captured on video by bystanders and broadcast over the Internet and the video became a rallying point for the opposition. It was described as "probably the most widely witnessed death in human history".

Ministry of Roads and Transportation of Iran, was the main organ of Iranian Government responsible for administration of roadway, railway, airway and seaway transport inside the country and transport connections between Iran and other countries. Currently its Acting minister is Ali Nikzad. In June 2011, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and the Ministry of Roads and Transportation were merged into the Ministry of Transportation and Housing.

Tehran City Theater
Tehran City Theater (opened ca. 1972) or Teatr-e Shahr is a performing arts complex in Tehran, Iran. Architect Ali Sardar Afkhami designed the main building in the 1960s, later expanded. The complex contains several performance spaces including Chaharsou Hall, Qashqai Hall, Sayeh Hall, and the Main Hall. Since 1979 the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has overseen its operation.
