HMAS Parramatta (D55)
HMAS Parramatta, named for the Parramatta River, was a River-class torpedo-boat destroyer of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Ordered in 1909 for the Commonwealth Naval Forces (the predecessor of the RAN), Parramatta was the first ship launched for the Australian navy. Temporarily commissioned into the Royal Navy for the delivery voyage to Australia, the destroyer came under Australian naval control in 1910, and on 1 March 1911 was recommissioned into the RAN, shortly before its founding.

The Division of Berowra is an Australian Electoral Division in New South Wales. The division was created in 1969 and is named for the suburb of Berowra. The town is a tourist spot with picnic and barbecue facilities. As well as a rich convict and colonial heritage in the area, the Dharug National Park and Yengo National Park are close by.
Wisemans Ferry
Wisemans Ferry is a cable ferry across the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales, Australia. The ferry operates from the eponymous community of Wisemans Ferry on the south bank, to a point on the north bank downstream of the Hawkesbury River's confluence with the Macdonald River, connecting with the old Great North Road. The crossing has remained in use on its current site since 1829, making it the oldest ferry crossing still in operation in New South Wales, and possibly in Australia.
Berowra Creek
Berowra Creek is a tributary of the Hawkesbury River, situated to the north of the city of Sydney in the Australian state of New South Wales. The creek is about 30 kilometres long, and is a ria or drowned river valley estuary, consisting of steeply incised gorges with surrounding plateau areas. It rises near Pennant Hills and flows generally north-north-east into the Hawkesbury River about 7 kilometres west of Brooklyn, and about 20 kilometres from the ocean.

Popran Creek flows through the Valley, also known as Glenworth Valley. Popran National Park was created in 1994 and is for the most part made up of sandstone cliffs and gullies. The creation of the park is indicative of the value the area has because of its unique fauna, flora and geology. The history of the Popran Valley includes pre and post-European settlement.
