Homebush, New South Wales
Homebush is a western suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Homebush is located 15 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Strathfield. Homebush West and Homebush Bay are separate suburbs. Homebush is located south of Homebush Bay, an inlet of the Parramatta River.

Homebush railway station is a station on the Main Suburban railway line of Sydney's CityRail system. Located in the suburb of Homebush, it is at the point where six tracks reduce to four. The station is served mainly by Inner West line trains, though some South line trains also stop here. There are seven platforms, of which only four are regularly used by stopping trains. A freight line connection to North Strathfield also passes through the station adjacent to platform 1.

The Olympic Park Line (or the Olympic Park Sprint) is a railway line and an associated CityRail service in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia that connects the Sydney Olympic Park precinct to the rest of the metropolitan train network. It has one station, Olympic Park, which is located on a balloon loop. The original purpose of the line to Olympic Park was to convey passengers to and from venues at Sydney Olympic Park and the Sydney CBD during the 2000 Summer Olympics.

North Strathfield is a CityRail railway station on the Northern line. The station serves the residential area of North Strathfield. During trackwork on the Western line, trains will sometimes run between North Strathfield Station and Olympic Park Station. This happened when there was a major event on at Acer arena (Allphones Arena) and there was trackwork on the Western line and trains were unable to run between Olympic Park Station and Lidcombe Station.

The Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre, also known as the State Hockey Centre of New South Wales is a multi-use stadium in Sydney, Australia. It was built in 1998 as part of Sydney Olympic Park sporting complex, having held matches for the field hockey events at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Its current capacity is 8,000 people, with seating capacity for 4,000. For the Sydney Olympic Games capacity was boosted to 15,000 through the use of temporary stands.

The Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is a swimming venue in Sydney, Australia. For the 2000 Summer Olympics, it hosted the swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, the medal events for water polo, and the swimming portion of the modern pentathlon competitions. The stadium currently holds 10,000 people but had a boosted capacity of 17,000 during the 2000 Summer Olympics and was built in 1994. It is Australia's largest swimming area.
State Sports Centre
The State Sports Centre is a multi-use indoor arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It hosted the table tennis and taekwondo events for the 2000 Summer Olympics.
