Fermilab
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), located just outside Batavia, Illinois, near Chicago, is a US Department of Energy national laboratory specializing in high-energy particle physics. As of January 1, 2007, Fermilab is operated by the Fermi Research Alliance, a joint venture of the University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology and the Universities Research Association (URA). Wayne, Illinois
Wayne is an affluent village in DuPage and Kane County, Illinois. The eastern portion, in DuPage County, is in Wayne Township while the western portion, in Kane County, is in St. Charles Township. The population was 2,137 at the 2000 census. In the late 19th and early 20th century, Wayne was a prominent center of horse breeding and farming research. The community was known for breeding French Percheron horses, a draft horse similar to a Clydesdale.
West Chicago, Illinois

The Tevatron was a circular particle accelerator in the United States, at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (also known as Fermilab), just east of Batavia, Illinois, and holds the title of the second highest energy particle collider in the world after the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) near Geneva, Switzerland. The Tevatron was a synchrotron that accelerated protons and antiprotons in a 6.86 km, or 4.26 mi, ring to energies of up to 1 TeV, hence its name.

Geneva (Metra)
Geneva is a Metra commuter railroad station in Geneva, Illinois served Metra's Union Pacific/West Line. The station is 35.5 miles away from Ogilvie Transportation Center. In Metra's zone-based fare structure, Geneva is in zone H. The station consists of two side platforms and a waiting room, with a ticket agent booth staffed on weekday mornings. Trains go east to Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago and west to Elburn, Illinois.

The center includes over 80 retailers and restaurants spread over 418,000 square feet . The center, which was developed by Jeffrey R. Anderson, was opened on September 5, 2002. The developer also built the Algonquin Commons, located 15 miles north along Randall Road in Algonquin, which opened in 2004.

The company operates a chain of facilities at airports all across the United States. American Flyers produces more instrument-rated pilots than any other school in the nation. Elgin Mental Health Center
The Elgin Mental Health Center (formerly Elgin State Hospital) is a mental health facility operated by the State of Illinois in Elgin, Illinois. Although during its history, its mission has changed, at times it treated mental illness, tuberculosis, and provided federally funded care for veterans. South Elgin (Amtrak station)
The South Elgin Amtrak station is a proposed train station located in South Elgin, Illinois, and will serve a new Chicago-Rockford-Dubuque Amtrak route that is expected to begin operation in late 2014 or early 2015. South Elgin will be the first stop west of Chicago Union Station. The city of South Elgin is planning the location for the station to be on Randall Road. No other plans for the station have been identified so far.
