Aranđelovac
Aranđelovac is a town and a municipality in Serbia at 44.31° North, 20.57° East. It lies beneath the mountains Bukulja and Venčac, at about 255 m above sea level, 75 km away from Belgrade. The municipality encompasses two town and 18 village communities. Bukovička Banja Spa is located in the town. The town is situated in the Šumadijski okrug with the administrative center in Kragujevac.
Risovača Cave
Risovača Cave is situated at the entrance of the town of Aranđelovac, Serbia. It is one of the most important archeological sites of paleoliths in Europe. It's been discovered around 1938, but archeological excavations started in 1953. Fossils of cave bears, mammoths, woolly rhinoceros, cave lions, leopard and bison. The cave depth is approximately 187 meters, and "halls" are decorated with minerals of different shapes and colors. Also, tools which cavemen used at those times were discovered.
Marićevića jaruga
Marićević Trench (Srb. Marićevića jaruga), in Orašac, Aranđelovac, Serbia, is a memorial complex at the site of a former trench where the First Serbian Uprising was agreed upon on 15 February 1804 and Karađorđe Petrović was chosen as the leader of the uprising. Marićević Trench is visited every year by high-ranking Serbian state officials because the date when the rebellion started, 15 February, is celebrated as the day the modern Serbian state was founded.
