Arad International Airport is located 3 km west of Arad, in western Romania, in the historical region of Crisana. The airport is located only 60 km north of Timişoara Airport, the third largest airport in the country.
Vinga
Vinga is a commune in Arad County, western Romania, south of the county seat of Arad, with a population of 5,828 inhabitants (as of 2011). Vinga is located in the northern section of the Banat. Stadionul Francisc von Neumann

Mureş Floodplain Natural Park
The Mureș Floodplain Natural Park, set aside by the Romanian government in 2005, is located in western Romania outside the city of Arad. The park covers 17,455 ha and follows the Mureş River westward from the city of Arad to the Hungarian border. The park is a typical ecosystem for wetlands, with running and still waters, and is subjected to periodical floods (a flood every three years).

Castra of Aradul Nou
The castra of Aradul Nou was a fort in the Roman province of Dacia, located in a modern neighborhood of Arad in Romania. Bricks bearing the name of two Roman legions were unearthed at this location. Built under Emperor Trajan and abandoned thereafter, this auxiliary fort protected the road leading from Micia to Partiscum.
Arad Central Railway Station
Arad Central Railway Station (Romanian: Gara Centrală din Arad) is the largest railway station in the city of Arad and the largest in the Arad County. It is the second largest railway station in the western region of Romania, immediately after Timișoara Nord railway station. The main building was designed by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff, when Arad was part of Hungary prior to joining Romania in 1918.
