At the 2006 census, the county's population (including the portions later split off to form Haftgel County) was 120,194, in 25,359 families; excluding those portions, the population was 97,561, in 20,648 families. The county has one district: the Central District. The county has one city: Ramhormoz.

At the 2006 census, the county's population was 22,633, in 4,711 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Raghiveh District. The county has one city: Haftgel.
