Scarborough is a railway station on the South Coast Line of the CityRail interurban network, serving the town of Scarborough, a small town on the northern Illawarra escarpment. The station has two side platforms on a large curve. It is served by one train per hour during the off-peak, with more trains during peak hours.
Wombarra railway station
Wombarra is a railway station on the South Coast Line of the CityRail interurban network, serving the village of Wombarra, a small community located below the northern Illawarra escarpment. It lies on a long curve at a distance of 64 kilometres by rail from Sydney's Central Station and 24 kilometres by rail from Wollongong station, at about 60 metres above sea level.
Coledale railway station
Coledale is a railway station on the South Coast Line of the CityRail interurban network, serving the beachside town of Coledale, a small town on the Illawarra escarpment. The station has an island platform. It is served by one train every two hours during the off-peak, with more trains during peak hours. At 6:50pm on 25 January 2011, a 9-year-old girl was killed at Coledale Station after reportedly playing on the tracks.
Sea Cliff Bridge
The Sea Cliff Bridge is a balanced cantilever bridge located in the northern Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The $52 million bridge links the coastal villages of Coalcliff and Clifton. Featuring two lanes of traffic, a cycleway and a walkway, the Sea Cliff Bridge boasts spectacular views and is a feature of the scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive. The Sea Cliff Bridge replaced a section of Lawrence Hargrave Drive that was permanently closed in August 2003 due to regular rock falls.

Coledale's shops include a newsagent, 2 cafe's, video shop, hair dresser, pizza/fast food takeout and a bottle shop.

Clifton is a village on the coast of New South Wales, Australia, between Sydney and Wollongong. Along with nearby Coalcliff, the village began life as a coal-mining centre. It is situated on a narrow area between the sea and the Illawarra escarpment. The electrified South Coast railway line passes through, but the station at Clifton was closed in 1915.

Scarborough is a small northern seaside suburb of Wollongong on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. It sits in the northern Illawarra region on a narrow stretch between the Illawarra escarpment and sea cliffs. Scarborough hosts a number of surfing competitions. It has a railway station and Scarborough Public School is the town's public primary school. The town used to be called South Clifton but in 1903, to avoid confusion between the railway stations, it was renamed.
