Woollahra railway station
Woollahra railway station was a proposed railway station on Sydney's Eastern Suburbs line. Named after the suburb it was located in, Woollahra railway station would have been built between the present stations of Edgecliff and Bondi Junction. Central Synagogue, Sydney
The Central Synagogue of Sydney is one of Australia's largest synagogues, and possibly the "largest synagogue in the Southern hemisphere. " The Central Synagogue was formed as the Surry Hills congregation in 1912 with the aim of introducing Eastern European custom into Sydney, and to arrest the drift from Judaism. The Bondi-Waverley congregation, established in 1918, and merged with that of Surry Hills in March 1921, to form the Eastern Suburbs Central Synagogue at Bondi Junction.
Fred Hollows Reserve
Fred Hollows Reserve in Coogee, New South Wales Australia is a natural area in Glebe Gully in the Eastern Suburbs. It is the result of conservation efforts by the Randwick Council over the past 15 years in a hilly part of the Coogee Basin. The two hectare park follows a gully from Alison Road to Clovelly Road. The native life in the gully deteriorated in the 1970s from neglect and the deposition of urban refuse. Weeding and replanting have restored much of the native flora and fauna.
